Gerd is very good "She's fine, you're the one who needs by the bale tonight, Skald"

"Fine fine.." he drops it

"You can sleep okay in that chair?"

"Yes yes, Slept in worse"

"Okay. You need anything? Blanket?"

"If it will make you feel better for me to have one"

"It would, yes."

"Then please, and thank you" he says

A blanket AND a pillow are produced.

He settles down

And soon falls to sleep

Gerd whispers "Grumps... turn your back for an hour and boom... "

"Well.. he needs it!"

"He does. Okay... .. I'm staying here for Connor .. I'll watch your grandpa too." A pause "he's a good grampa. Not too old. Servicable"

"You go on, I got this." Gerd says "And I think he saw that bump on your head by the reflection in his phone's..different angle got under the hair"

Grump.

"I did put my helmet on. For most of the practice."

"Yes yes, but Grumps are wiley. They ignore the important things..then notice the EMBARRASSING Things"

HARRUMPH

"right?"

"So very" A roll of her eyes "I dont' even know why we keep them but..hey. Love em so.. ."

And the two have a long talk about the adults in their lives and how troublesome they are.
