Gerd opens the door "Connor, there you are. You're faded!" Alarm "Get in here right now, you hear me?"

"It's okay, my ears and tail are still here." He remarks, tugging at one of his ears. "I thought maybe they would go away... but they stay forever and ever." A little distant.

"Yeah, I know, but that's not who you are, who you are is that wonderful spark of a boy I call brother, pooka spirit, human soul..together. " Gerd says then and only then does she realize Torin is there "Torin? Sir? COme in.. is Racer okay . Okay what happened?"

"Torin got attacked by a bunch of goo-goons. But now they are goo-gone."

"Hail to Connor, his grip like fire and brine to the foul dreams of pestilence that would rob the silver from the light of the world! behold the living cup when did replenish the fire of my defiance! " Torin says then gentles his voice, "And who did help ease the noble heart of the racer so he might yet race again"

Gerd helps him settle racer down on a blanket area. Oak and Brown Dog and Edwelwiess move forward to sniff at the poor sighthound

"Give him lots of snuggles." He informs the dogs solemnly.

"Torin, come sit by the fire. Maybe we can make s'mores." He shoots a glance at Gerd... Kerri has hands-down denied him this as it's apparently inappropriate, but maybe GERD doesn't know that...

"No Smores , it's a balefire, not a campfire" Gerd fusses , "And Hearth kerri told you that, Connor Barkly Howlington"

His ears droop. "I thought maybe... just because... " His eyes are huge and sorrowful, full-puppy-dog mode. "I thought maybe they'd make me feel.. just a little bit... better..."

She sighs "I'll microwave some"

"We also need baths," Torin says

A side-eye at Torin, the traitor.

"Oh my, right" Gerd says as if she should have thought of that "Smores after baths."

"Oops" Torin says with an apologetic shrug to Connor

He squares up bravely. "never give up, if s'mores come after."

Gerd nods "That's the spirit... but for now, to the tub. Hup. Hup. Hup" She seems readhy to march Connor to do so.

"Can I use Sylvi's soap? The one that smells like flowers?"

He ducks his head a bit. "I'm not allowed in her room no more."

A thought "You know, sure." A smirk and off they go.

Jack Flap is raptly listening "So you hit the Dough girls with a stick and saved an entire bus?"

okay, he may have misunderstood that Greyhound is a dog breed

Dagmar heads in after a long day of internet school and horses.

So an exhausted but clean grandpa snoozing near the fire might catch her off guard

Possibly with connor on top of him

Gerd comes in from the kitchen.

"Hey, Dagmar."

"Hey Gerd..." A little furrow between her brows, the one of the unasked question.

"Yeah," Gerd gets it and answers "your grandfather got attacked by creepy glamour stealing plague kid chimera "

"Connor went to his rescue...poor Racer nearly had a heart attack"

"What?"

"More nighmare Chimera appeared and attacked Torin thinking hge was old"

"...."

"He's okay now. Connor seemed to be like Kryptonite to them..and fed Torin glamour... " Gerd says "And the 'wtf' you're feeling? that's how I felt about Connor when he walked in nearly glamour free"

"...What?"

"I'm not sure what part I'm missing?"

"Torin was attacked? Racer was hurt?"

"Yes," She says "Chimerical monsters shaped like dough children attacked him. Racer fought for him..but he's old and the poor dog nearly had a heart attack"

Eyes wide with worry.

Connor is snoozing in puppy form near the bale. Even as a dog, his glamour is rather faded - glimmering more like Oak or Edie than like a fae boy.

"They're gonna be okay"

Gerd says though she shoots worried looks at Connor

"Well, there's the fire..." A frown. "I hate that he's so far out."

"We'll bully him to stay here for a while"

"For sure."

A nod "Are you okay?"

"Yeah?"
