Frank nods. "I'm picking up some work again, to help out. You can ride along."

"Sounds good. " Vali says "That's not going to slow us down too much is it?"

Frank shakes his head. "No. Been doing this for years."

"No problem, and the good news is, with me along, you have a second driver"

An eyebrow. "You have a CDL?"

"WHo's gonna tell?" He says "I drove it before remember?"

Frank nods. "Very often, late at night, I wake up remembering."

A beat then "Hurtful"

Then he sighs "okaiy... anything I need to bring or can do to help with before we go?"

An amused puff.

"I need to make a few phone calls, set up the load at the yard. Let me do that now, I'll get back to you with a date and time."

"Sounds good." He rises

Frank does as well, heading for the phone closet.

The two part, Vali goes off to talk to Tiffany. Let her know plans

Lily clambers along the rafters of the lodge. She wishes she could see in the dark like others, but sticking to high places isn't bad.

No Connor? He's not hiding from her, is he?

He seems to be MIA right now. Odd, with the other kids home, he shouldn’t be needed to play nursemaid to Tove, but he isn’t lingering around the Lodge either. Maybe Jack is about?

Jack is about. Rolling a truck up and down the stairwell "Convooooy"

Lily scoots along the ceiling, over the boy. As he vrooms and makes more noise.

"ppssst' she says

"Vroom.... breaker Breaker, good buddy, we got a bear trap" The satyr boy says.

"Where's connor?" She asks, but her whisper is drowned out by the sounds. She sighs, and clambers down the wall a bit.

"vfrroom"

She reaches down, extends a toy, and twists her head even as she taps him ,looking down "Where's Connor?" A hiss.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he screams as he sees the girl with the head turned wrong side and she's upside down and dangling from a wall and her toe touched him... and throws the toy truck up..and races up the stairs at super duper satyr speed...

Lily's ears are ringing "so loud"

"What the heck?" Sylvi comes out of her room warily, hand on her Bowie knife. "Jack?"

"Monster!"

Lily squeezes tighter to the wall

"Where?" She's ready now, knife in hand, having heard of the nocnitsa that got Carawyn. "Show me!"

He gestures down "It's... on the wall. I didn't look long. It had a tentacle and touched my shoulder and I think it said 'Next connor'

A muttering whispering protest

Sylvi's about to respond to Jack when she just hears the whisper. "Wait...what?" She motions Jack to stay behind her as she goes closer to hear. "Who's there," she demands.

"lily" she might or might not hear

"Oh!" And she remembers not to laugh too loudly with relief. "Jack, it's Lily. Haven't you met her before? Here, look...Lily, where are you?" she asks from where they stand at the top of the stairs.

She clambers closer and whispers "we met before."

"Oh, it's Lily! I.. so that wasn't a tentacle?" Jack looks at Sylvi.

Lily rolls her eyes and wiggles a toe demonstratively

"It's easy to get startled by sluagh, Jack. I don't think she meant to scare you, though. Not this time, anyway. Did you, Lily?"

"no, i didn't even enjoy it" a cheated pout

"and I Did?" Jack blinks "you don't go sneaking up on.. with the touching shoudlers in the stairwell and.. geez"

"Well, I know sometimes Symon startles me because I just couldn't hear him getting close, and then he's just THERE." A shrug. "Anyway...Hi, Lily. Everything okay?"

"no. i cannot find connor"

Jack says "I thought he was at Tove's"

"she's got lots of folks to watch her thanks to the Core-owner Viral us" Lily says "So I don't think he's there"

"Huh. Hey, Jack, can you check if he's in the closet in your room?"

Jack looks worried, but now for a new reason "Okay" And he races up to check
