Frank waits till she's gone, and stands slowly.

Dagmar's expression is pleading as she nods.

"Yes, I was fortunate enough to come at a time when he was considering hiring. I work the night shift" he says

"It's a good move."

A brief eyebrow at Dagmar's expression.

"It works to my advantage as I can interact with sons of adam and daughters of eve as well" A nod "I can help them more"

A nod. "And Truthbranch's mission is an honorable one. Sir Carawyn, I have no objection to your presence here. In fact, you are welcome." She toasts to him with her coffee mug.

A look of relief, "Thank you" He says "Please let me know how I can help the lodge. I will try to rent or set up my own place outside of it, but will remain at your service."

She bites on her lower lip and shrugs.

"I was about to ask what your housing arrangements are."

"Well for the last few days I have been staying at the lodge, but I have an invitation from Sir Vali for a room if I need it for a day or so... I also can make arrangements at the motel without trouble."

She nods. "We will help complete arrangements."

"Thank you, I have some funding from the Bannerhouse when it comes to enough to rent a location, not a lot, but add it to my job, I should be reasonably self reliant."

"Excellent."

Frank nods.

Brekke glances to where Piper was sitting before...but has the satyr vanished?

"Sally Mae has been particluarly kind though ," A blush "I don't know how to tell her she maybe causing me to gain weight"

The Chieftain clears her throat. "Yes, she is an enthusiastic host."

"Sally Mae is a highly valued member of our Lodge family here."

Brekke nods agreement with Frank.

"Of that I have no doubt" He says, "I must confess, I feel quite small in this lodge but I find it very homey despite that. It's..." He looks about, "It's there for one, isn't it? If you need shelter or comfort. It's... a holding that holds"

Brekke looks pleased. "I am glad that is the impression you receive. Rivervale has held and supported many." She looks fondly at the balefire.

The Mountain looks fondly at the Chieftess.

Brekke catches that glance and returns the look briefly.

Then a sigh as she creaks to standing. "Excuse me for a moment, however, as I go to speak with a satyr."

"I understand. Please let me know if you need me to with draw for her sake" he says

"I do not believe that will be necessary, but thank you." A nod to the sidhe, and she briefly touches Frank's arm as she passes him en route to the kitchen.

A frown.

"Never seen Piper act like that before."

Frank waits till she's gone before heading to sit at his desk. "No?" He glances. "Can't say I know her at all well."

"Well, I get the feeling that I am the last one who should be asking her for details. I make her nervous." Carawyn sips, then "so far most here seem glad to see me. "

"She's from California, isn't that where Ardent Harbor is?"

Frank nods.

"It is" he nods

"Hunh."

"I Like it, but after more than six hours I find myself craving a nice quiet spot under a tree or something" Carawyn admits

Frank shuffles and sorts through some papers.

"Ardent Harbor can be... a lot."

"Liam, right? Bet it's real serious..."

"It's an amusement park ruled by a powerful, wise, and whimsical lord with a sense of humor that's...ah, his own" Carawyn says "It does have some serious things. But over all the glamour there is ..fun?"

Frank actually chuckles. "'Tis a silly place."

Carawyn flashes a brilliant grin at that

Frank takes a drink of his coffee, looks over at Dagmar. "Would you want to visit it sometime?"

"I've never been to California..."

"If you'd like to go, I'd be happy to take you."

Brogan comes out with a tray of rice krispie treats. Some have chocolate lacing, a few have a blue berry topping , most are normal "Sir Carawyn? Would you care for one?"

"Ah, thank you, Squire" he takes a regular.

The Squire turns "Any for you, Dame? Mountain?" Offering

"No, thank you." With a pat at his middle.

"I'm good, thanks."
