Sally Mae looks at the married couples and how happy they seem with a twinge of envy but smiles.

While Dagmar has a right to be proud of her own work, it's good to have someone else's cooking.. .particularly if it's Hearth level.

Jaymes enjoys his meal quietly, but inwardly? He notices his daughter no longer squirrels away biscuits or the extras

And that makes him even happier. She feels safe.

Siv is surprisingly quiet about House Fiona, but clearly sore.

Physically. Emotionally she seems tired but okay

She's also tired, and as the meal starts to end, she looks at the clean up with a quiet dread, but starts up "I'll get the plates of anyone done."

"Why thank you, Siv" Sally Mae says

"Siv?"

"Yeah Dagmar?" Siv turns, reaching for Dagmar's plate "You done?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah, just, tired" A bit of a lie

she probably shouldn't have said the 'just'

and Siv gathers other plates when it seems Dagmar isn't done with hers.

Eyebrow.

And she follows into the kitchen.

Sally Mae gives Dagmar a few more things to take in and puts that to use, AND give Dagmar an excuse

an excuse to trap Siv in the kitchen.

She sees Siv leaning against the counter slowly, taking a breath.

"Not just tired."

"Let's not make a fuss," She says "I might have had a...bad moment at training, but I'm all right"

she believes it, but it warbles

So she corrects "I'll BE all right"

"I love Gwydions, but I really don't like that boon" TRUE

"Well... maybe talking will help?"

"Sorry, FIona training related. So somethings I'm not supposed to talk about. There's...tests. Some are rough. You know, folks play up that they're great lovers, but their warrior side is not lacking"

"So they made you fight?"

"Among other things, yeah," A nod, "And somethings were just me screwing up , but learning hard"

A slow frown. "How do I help?"

A smile, "It's okay. I..." A pause "Actually, there's a way you could help me later. And you'll even like it"

Eyebrow.

"Horse riding. The baroness is nuts for horses, and House Fiona fancies itself the best riders... and I can ride fine, but not at that level so I need to practice. Would you be willing to escort me sometime?"

"Sure!"

"Stormwake may or may not take you, ut we know Star will."

"Oh I can get a horse," She says "They've got a grand collection there." A pause "Not that I want Star or Stormwake jealous" And "Sides, mom says Star is yours now." A wink "Congrats on that"

"Well, sure - but I have a boon to ride Stormwake, too."

"So, like, we can practice here?"

"Fine by me" SHe says "THey leap hurdles, and even do circus stunts, and the joust, oh they're crazy proud of their jousting"

"Hmph."

"I know, I know, I bragged about mom launching people every pennons. Should not have done that" A sigh

"Now they want you to launch people?"

"They figured I must be used to it too and uped the difficulty level on me." A roll of her eyes "I know you may not believe this, but sometimes my mouth gets me in trouble"
