"Just that they're knock-outs." He grins. "And I guess now that they're woke and all."

"You're not as smooth as you think you are, good thing you're cute" A shake of her head but she has uncrossed her arms "As it happens one of my cousins is biracial"

"Oh!" A light bulb. "Cool."

She goes back to scribbling "I think we might be able to set something up on the driving thing. "

"Do you ever need a ride?" Innocently.

"No. I'm good, thank you" Amusement now "I have a boyfriend if my car breaks down"

"Oh." some good natured regret. "Lucky guy."

"thank you for saying so"

"Hey, sure." he shrugs "But you think Fae will want an uber service?" Dubious.

"I think not everyone has trods going where they want, not everyone flicker flashes, and not every wilder has a car. Yeah"

"I mean, I don't mind doing someone a favor....."

"I know, but there's no shame in doing good work and getting paid for it. Like the good book says 'The Worker is worthy of his hire'."

"I guess, yeah."

"If you prefer the farm work, we can set that up too. I'll look into both" She smiles

An answering expression of happyness. "Sally Mae, you have a great smile."

"And yeah, sure. How hard can farm work be?"

"Thank you and.. oh you have no idea, but I can help with that lesson" She nods

"Cool!" he responds, chipper.

"Now, pardon I need to get to work on this, and finish up some stuff in the kitchen. "

"Yeah, yeah, sure. Good to talk to you, and... thanks. Again. I mean it."

"Anytime" SHe says and walks to the kitchen

And Adam heads homeward in his new voile.
