"I heard she gets stronger when facing evil" Lauge corrects

"Well, evil makes her cranky so she gets madder" Lucjan says with a slight 'so there' tone.

"I bet she hits evil harder even when she's NOT cranky" The other twin has not given up

"Why would she hit GOOD hard?" Counter reposte in your face

This falls into a lively if circular debate on just what is the source of Dagmar's even more than your average troll awesome muscle!

Gerd sighs

And tries to focus.

The food was good. Not evil. Good.

Dag rolls in, finally done with the horses. She heads for the kitchen.

She sees Gerd with an intense look of concentration...she's trying to fidget

"Hey Gerd." Casual.

"Hey...hey Dagmar"

"You okay?" Se checks the fridge, retrieves a Dr. Pepper.

"FIne" Lie.

Eyebrow.

"You want a pop?"

"I.. " A sigh "I'm trying not to go throw things up."

She bites on her lip, considering.

"It's... yeah, when things are hard, you wanna do... like..." Frown. "Yeah, I get it."

"I feel stupid. It IS stupid. To think things like.. this. But I can't ..." A breath "I cant stop the thoughts. I don't know.. the therapist gave good tips but I think Elegan... that fall out? Has me... " mutter "Stupid."

"Yeah. Like you're too jammed up inside and you gotta do something before you burst. Throw up, or break something, or cut, or... y'know?"

"I'm sorry about that jerk-ass. Still wanna break his teeth."

"Yeah" SHe nods " You shouldn't have to put up with my screwups... but .. I appreciate you being ready to cave his face in." A bit of a smile

"Well, maybe I'm not ready to be a sister, but you're still my friend."

The smile is more than a bit "Your'e a good friend. You and me...we're both a little damaged huh?"

"So.. like, is there something I could do to help? Distraction? We could go watch TV..."

Snort-grin. "Yeah, we're fucked up. Go team."

Okay, an actual ha of a laugh, single, but real, slips out "Okay, see tHIS is weirdly working. F'dup girls unite. Should be on a t shirt. " A beat , "Did you want to watch anything particular?"

"Um, I dunno. You know any gothy stuff? Or, hey, Tove showed me an old show on streaming... you ever hear of Xena?"

"Heard of it? Vali loved it. I only saw one or two episodes. They're streaming?"

"Uh-huh. So, like, Xena was a bad guy, right? But then she decides she wants to be better, and fight for good... but, of course, she's STILL a hard-ass warrior and has lots of people who still are angry about her past... but, like, she's trying..."

"Ooo so old enemies AND new ones? She's got a lot of suck"

"And she makes a friend, Gabrielle, who, like, is sort of her moral compass and also kinda squishy so Xena has to protect her..."

"Okay.. you've got me curious."

"Oh, wait until you meet the Amazons!"

"Amazons like in Wonder Woman? COOL." She does move to the sofa

"Popcorn good? You find it on the box, I'll pop the bag."

"Yeah I.. I can handle popcorn " She nods with certainty

"Cool. We'll share!"

A nod , and .clicking "Oh wow, thsi is old. Not that's always bad. Found it!"

"SO old. And cheesy. But fun, too?" She flops down next to Gerd with a bowl of popcorn.

And the music and intro starts. "Okay. I think Sylvi wore that outfit for a holiday once"

Snerk.

"She reminds me of Wonder Woman, too... but, like, less perfect princess."

"Yeah, I get you..she's got more ..well, it's like you can tell if she stripped down there would be more scars?"

Dag chews on a hangnail.
