"Huu." Good owl!

Solstice actually lands near her, now fully visible in the moonlight. While he likes Siv a great deal, he does not yet know Jonas.

Dagmar he likes too, she did feed him a lot of meat at the party.

"Hu." She is still! Not a threat, not prey. Big blue rock.

And he flutters closer, well, flutter is far too strong a word

He makes such little sound as he moves. Other birds she's seen make far more noise when they move

"Hey."

Yup. He's noticing her, looks her up and down.

handsome fellow that he is. She realizes he's enchanted. Probably was done to give him the full balefire effect

"Oh, that's probably why. Trippy, huh?"

It would seem so, the owl is just an owl, but then, perhaps if a young woman believes he is more, he is? For she could swear he kind of nodded

"Everybody says owls are magic."

"Huu?"

"Huu." Agreeably.

"Huu huu" Apparently content to have this conversation with the blue girl

Dag is also content, free to admire the bird, to share its company...

And for a time they do just that, the owl sometimes huu huuing. She can join in if she likes. It's chatter talk, not territory talk

Good talk. But girls, even big blue ones, are not owls. Eventually, she yawns.

And with that, Solstice gives her a look, another knowing look, and then swoops off, stealth mode again. It is time to hunt. Solstice will not let his skills get rusty.

And a different sound, foot steps she recognizes, come up. Her dad.

A sleepy grumble as she gets up to her feet. "Dad, you scared him."

"mmph" (Sorry) "You cold?" He brought a heavier jacket

"Tired." She walks to join him... but does take the coat.

He puts hands it over, and even helps her into if she needs despite the fact they're close to home. They walk "Owl better?"

Their own house coming into view, the light from the wisdows making a glass smile

"Yeah. Strong again."

"mmph" Pleased sound (Good) and in they go through the door, where there is warmth, and a bed and a glass of coco
