Dagmar tries not to stare, but there are a few sidelong glances at the stump.

The house in question is in a circle street about a block from Adam

And Zane steps out "And her dad is like ..super distrustful of guys...for some reason."

Brekke sees where Frank parks the motorcycle, and drives on another block before parking. "Do not want to draw too much attention."

"So do you want me to knock on the door or text her to lead her out?"

"Text her, bring her out, and walk her closer. I'm going to move a block back. Meet us there."

She exits the Jeep and starts walking back to where Frank and Zane are, presuming that Dagmar will join her.

Dag does follow, with Flyswatter.

Brekke looks at her. "Have you ever seen a chrysalis other than your own?"

Zane nods, "I'll turn on the sexy" And starts to text

A faint frown. "Um?"

"Nadeen's..."

"But sidhe are different, right?"

Sure enough, a face peeks out the upstairs window of the house. Glasses and eyes behind them curious..

and glamour spurts

forming random little chimera of question marks and hearts

"Mm." A nod. "Not the awakening of a sleeping spirit, but a...an incursion." She does not keep her tone entirely neutral.

They are within sight of the house and... "Ah, look. See? Zane was correct. Be watchful."

Frank maintains the distance he has, watching.

And then, she slips out, "Zane? what is it?" She dresses frumpily, DIrty blonde colored hair.

"I mean... you want to practice a French romance poem on me for extra credit?" She looks around, unaware of stealthy trolls

"It was... yeah. It wasn't good."

"Yes," He says, "Sorry, I guess it's a hang up, but I didn't want to try it on Adam." A grin.

She laughs then blushes

"Oh, can we like..get away from your house? I don't think your dad likes me" A cough

"Don't take it personal, he hates all males not himself" She says but follows zane.

Zane looks over his shoulder as they close in on the trolls

"oh ah.. hello, officer?" Ramona says confused "is there a wild animal loose?"

Dag rubs the back of her neck, staying quiet in te shadows.

A slight chuckle. "Not an officer. And there may be. Have you seen anything strange?" A nod to Zane.

Ramona blushes. "Well. I..."

Zane isn't sure if that's the go ahead or not, but he bows "here..." And grabs a fallen leaf, enchanting it, "A flower for the lady then I'll begin."

"Zane" a whisper, "in front of a ranger... she asked you a question.. "

but she takes the leaf.

And the soul erupts like a volcano!

Brekke hadn't intended it to be the signal, but...well, there we go.

She raises a brow and hefts her battle axe. Though she's understandably drawn to the beauty of the glamour, it is her job to keep watch over the chrysalid, keep her safe.

Dag's eyes widen at the dance of light and power.

A deep inhale at the rush of power. But careful...don't get greedy.

warm fires and cold drink.... friendship bracelets made of flowers... laughter of friends and the clack of tools....

and yet fears too rise up... and take form... very boggan fears....

Images of a boy with a battered face and craddling a damaged arm "I told you I fell down the steps! But you knew better! you KNEW It might be child abuse... and you didn't help me!"

Ramona had been enjoying all the good gasps as this appears, "I didn't KNOW.. I didn't know who to go to... I was seven years old, Franky! I didn't..."

Dag grips her weapon, a glance at Brekke?

"You should have helped!" The chimera points! His bruises turning into fanged mouths all chanting at the same time "Could have helped, Should have helped!"

A nod to Dagmar -- and this time, yes, it is a signal -- And she herself strikes at the chimera!

Dagmar brings the blade down! Smoting!

The Chimera is born of remorse and guilt and is tough, but it is still not up to TWO trolls smashing it!

it explodes and reforms to the boy "You couldn't know... and you were nice as you could be.... It's okay you need to forgive yourself, Ramona"

And that chimera breaks up again while Ramona gasps "Oh please let him be okay wherever he is"
