Zane and the Chieftain brought Ramona into the Lodge. She looks around in amazement, "This place feels..WARM.. and... i am so short."

"Compared to trolls, almost all of us a short" Zane says

"Ramona, here...." Brekke leads her to a chair, and puts a step stool before it. "Please have a seat."

"Thanks" She sits down, "Okay, so I'm... magic? " She eyes the fire "That's beautiful"

"Mm." Brekke nods. "That is a balefire, a source of Glamour. Glamour is what will sustain you. And yes, it is beautiful. Zane, would you please get Ramona something to drink?" A nod to the kitchen.

"Right ah, so you want soda or..." Zane says

"Relax, Zane... the Chieftain clearly thinks you're a good young man and she's not sending you away because you're trouble, she honestly is just being nice to me. She's actually a bit impressed at your progress, whatever she thought of you before." As if it was OBVIOUS, "Now stop worrying about her opinion even if she's the leader. She knows you respect her. And if you are curious where you stand beyond that, you should ask her. Water will be fine for now thank you."

Zane blinks "Ah."

Brekke blinks at the newly hatched boggan, then looks at Zane. Then she gives a brief shrug and a nod to send him along on the errand.

"Did I do something wrong? I mean, he was being so obvious about it..."

"No.. I really wasn't" Zane says but goes on in

Brekke looks bemused as she gets her own coffee and settles in her chair by the balefire. "No, he was not. I did not see it. But you did. That is part of your nature. What are you remembering, if anything?"

"You mean like images of... like, a very immersive movie with period films in my head?" Surprised "How'd you know i had those? I mean.. it was stronger during the explosion.. of.. dreams? But it's still got a few slices. And my nature . Do boggans see the obvious or something?"

"Those are your memories. That is why they seem immersive. You have lived them. And boggans see how others interact. I have heard it called 'reading a room.' "

"oh. I've always been decent at that. I wonder if this is that's why? Yeaah. I have images in my head....in one of them I was racing onto a battlefield ... there were redcoats and minute men.. I had to get the wounded to the healers"

Dagmar tromps in. On foot.

"A most honorable memory," Brekke nods, then she looks to the new arrival. "Dame Dagmar. What happened with the other?"

"TWO dream dances. She's a piskie, but, like, a grump fledge? Does that happen?"

"We couldn't all fit in one vehicle, Frank is gonna bring her here."

A bit of a sympathetic expression. "To chrysalize as a grump is not common, but it does happen. Some never wake at all, so in that sense she is fortunate to have had it happen, even if late."

"...Will she have to do the fledge thing, too, even though she's like, mom-aged?"

Zane comes in with water and soda... sees Dagmar and hands her the soda

A nod. "I believe so. I will have to meet her. Now, you have already met Ramona. Ramona, this is Dame Dagmar, a knight of house Gwydion."

Upnod. "Hey."

"Dame Dagmar..." A pause "i was a dame I think.. not a knight... like... I think I helped hide illegal gin"

"Past life stuff?"

"She is remembering," Brekke nods. Then a nod of thanks to Zane as he delivers the drinks.

"Ramona, you have lived many lives in many contexts. You will remember parts, but not all. More may come to you in time, and other memories may fade."

Ramona thanks Zane, and sips her eyes wide

She cracks her pop and takes a sqig.

"So... I'm magic? We're all magic? Hey, is Adam in on this? Was he just flirting with me to help me 'wake up?"

A blink, and a look at Dagmar. Then she looks back to Ramona. "I...would not be able to say. You will need to ask him."

Dagmar freezes.

The boggan is new into her dynamics...but they're slightly supercharged, "I said something wrong"

A concerned look to Dagmar

"No." A little line between her eyebrows.

"Well...." Brekke ventures. "It is a complicated situation, I think."

"...or not."

Her jaw sets stubbornly.

A momentary look of empathy to the younger troll, then she turns to the boggan again. "Ramona, you are what we call a fledge. You are new to our world, and it will take time to adjust, even though you have lived other lives. There are several fae in our local community, including at the school. We will find one to be your mentor as you learn and remember."

"Well, I.." a nod, "APologies for misunderstanding? I guess?"

"Oh everyone misunderstands soemtimes, even boggans" Zane says

Ramona nods slowly "Fledge. Boggan. Other LIves. Fae. A mentor? Like... my own private hogwarts instructor?"

"In a way, yes." Brekke nods. "You have mentioned healing on a battlefield. Do you have medical skills?"

"I took some first aid courses once... it was a summer thing. I thought about going into nursing."

"Interesting. Do you recall any other skills?"

"You man from a past life?" She knits her double eybrows then she blushes "I think I Know how to make gin in a bathtub"

Zane laughs at that

"Like Miss Hannigan?"
