She hopes that didn't mess up whatever Zane was doing.

Zane's voice comes out, "Ok..whoever it is.. I've got my pants on now. Geezus what timing!"

She takes another deep breath and makes her way back to where he is. A sheepish wave. "Sorry about that." Bright lavender.

"Did it work? Whatever it was?"

"I'm not sure" There's a glowing crystal in the bottom of a cauldron, it is red and just looking at it, she can see images of herself nude with Colton forming in it.

"Honestly no one was supposed to know about this" He says.

Her eyes go wide and her jaw drops.

"What did you DO???"

"What, what do you see?" He says " WHatever it is, if it's working, I'm not seeing the same thing"

"I....uh....what are you seeing?"

"I asked first and you intruded on me, remember?" Satyr brow, not as impressive as troll brow, but brow nonethless

A cringe and she tries not to look at what's going on in the crystal. "Ummmm...it's just a...uh...image of me and Colton...."

"Not who I saw, excellent. I think this may work. "

"Who did you see? And what is it?"

A cough "That's on a need to know basis, and ah.. you don't need to know"

She takes a breath to argue, but then thinks better of it. "Y'know what? Fair. Because I stepped in and interrupted something I didn't mean to. Sorry about that. So...listen...I've got information, and we need to do something, kind of a side quest."

"Yeah?" He says

"Yeah. But we can't tell anybody outside the group that's going. Siv knows what it's about, but she's the only one who does that's not going. So if I tell you and you decide not to, you've got to keep a lid on it, got it?"

"Yeah. I guess. But can I ask you something unrelated? It's.. not important to this mission I'm sure, but it means the world to me"

A pause, and she looks at him. "It's about how you look naked, isn't it."

"How did you know?" As if she were a psychic, then before she can answer that "And since you guessed anyway, yeah, what'd you think of the Ole 'Third Horn' since I figure you got an eyeful?"

A cringe and a sigh. "Very impressive, Zane. Gotta admit...very impressive. " Oh, yeah, forget lavender, we've gone on to straight-up purple.

A long exhale, and she says, "Okay, look...." and fills him in on the details from Nocturnus.

"Oh man.." he says "I don't know... I had my own plan if they came"

"Oh. Uh...can I ask what it is?"

"Yeah, I already did anything without others knowing so the lust would be pure, if they knew it might have ruined the working. What your'e looking at is basically the result of a 7 day ritual." Only now does she notice that he looks a bit tired, like he's not getting enough sleep. "See... the idea is... when Skallystrike shows.. this gets thrown at him. The cantrip releases. If it works, he'll see the object of his lust...a she dragon I Hope... and go chasing the thing... I don't know how long dragons mate... but I figured even if only buys five minutes, it could like... help my folks and others get the hell out?" He rubs his eyes. "Chicanery times 11... "

"Seven different days. Seven different dosses of glamour plus all the.. ah, well other work."

"Wow. Seven days?" She blinks at him. "That's intense. it's...." Another blink. "Wait, have you been practicing at home?"

"Ha, no. Not so much." He says "I'm not really wanting to take Freudian risks. Also, Dad might notice as he's better at Chicanery than I am. Mm come to htink of it, Piper might catch on. She is not like 'omg totes Cali girl'. She notices things. No I moved it around to places where the only factors woudl be the factors I chose."

"Well...I just came from your place, and your mom looks a little...uh...rumpled."

"It's amazing I have only one sibling" He says then shakes his head, "not everyone's trollilsh. My folks have a sex life. A healthy one and they are not shy about it. Also, they're feeling the samhain drag. So..duty is getting less interesting with passion. Dont' worry. I know about it. One of the reasons I didn't work there. I don't want it intruding on my working."

"Oh. Uh. Okay..." an awkward gulp. "Cool."

"But maybe Siv could throw it?"

"Then I could go with you? Or.. no she'll be busy"

A breath. "I don't know."

"I wonder.. huh. Maybe I should just fess up, tell Mountain Frank and see if he wants to lob it? I...worry he'll ask for details on the HOW and..."

"If you trust somebody else to do it, then....well...we could use you with us, I think."

A rustling down a path and Piper comes into view. "Zane - THERE you are. Protip, do NOT go home for at least a couple hours- WHEW. Why does it smell like the closet of a high-school party out here. Pher-o-mones."

"Give me time to think about it... and Oh hey it's a cousin. Is there a map leading to me or something?"

Sylvi takes an additional step away from Zane. "Absolutely nothing involving me!" Hands in the air.

She snorts a bit. "Auntie M practically threw some pocket cash at me and told me to make myself scarce, and mentioned you were out this way." A shrug, and she waves to Sylvi. "Hey, no judgement!"

Zane is shirtless, bare hooved, and a bit tired looking

An eyebrow raises, and she gives a little grin....

"I don't kiss and tell, cousin" he says "I also don't NOT Kiss and tell but it's fun to watch Sylvi try to explain"

The lavender is back. "Oh, boy..." she mutters, then says, "Look, I've gotta go. Zane, I'll be in touch, but let me know, okay? Good to see you, Piper."

"Oh, but I just got here, and this looks like a good story..." She sighs, a hand on her hip. "Text me later? I need some girl talk in my life."

"Well, girl talk, okay, but there's nothing to talk about between me and Zane. No offense, Zane. Later!" And she heads out of the woods, wondering why she thought it was a good idea to follow a satyr into a wooded glen to begin with.

She leans up against a tree casually - then twists, her back popping, as she scratches her back on the handy bark. "Oh, I get why bears like this. So Zu Zu..." Now that Sylvi is out of ear shot, that is, "What ARE you up to out here?"
