Siv walks "Vali said what?"

"Vali said," Sylvi repeats, "that the elf prince who is neither elf nor prince needs to come with us. Weird, huh? I thought at first maybe Adam, but then he said something else that referred to Adam more clearly, and not as the same person."

"Oh my gosh, of course, you don't know." A smile "Our elf prince is Symon"

"Symon?!" Sylvi stops. "How the heck is it Symon?!"

A snicker "I thought we told you we become new characters? Busty Barmaid knight's daughter for Dagmar... Gerd was a kender something... lot like a piskie... and me? A priestess" Nose in air "Guiding the unwise." Then a smile "Symon was an elf prince."

Sylvi's jaw drops. "Holy crap...I totally forgot about that whole D&D thing you did!" She marvels. "Symon, the elf prince. Wow...."

"He was cute too... but you know me and elven types" A wink

She blinks. "Siv...are you saying you were considering making a play for Symon?"

"Nope. Too wise as a priestess to try. But he was a very pretty boy" A chuckle.

A smirk. "Pity you had to leave all that stuff behind, huh?"

She starts to give sass then pauses and tilts her head, "Some of it. Yes."

"Ha." Sylvi lets it go, refocusing. "Okay, so...gotta talk to Symon. Think he's available?" She takes out her phone and starts texting....

"Possibly.. " She looks behind corners and trees

Whatever it is, Dirk did it.

A pause of a moment, then “ ;) “ sup?”

"No sluagh that I see. Course, anyone I did see would likely feel embarrassed about it"

"Well, he's texting me back. Or he was. Now he paused. Maybe going to show up underfoot at any moment."

"...but I bet it's like he won't show if we're expecting it."

"Want me to do the sluagh summong ritual?" She smiles

A dubious look. "How does that go?"

"Gee... I hope no one ever finds out about this. Gee I hope no one ever finds out about this. Gee I hope no one ever finds out about this"

Sylvi snickers and glances around to see if he appears.

A sigh and a shadowy separates from the others down the path. “I wasn’t PLANNING on coming by. But if I make a sad face and talk about feeling ‘a little weak’ then Ann Marie will always make an excuse to get me out of math club.” He eyes the girls over. “What? What’s that look about?” A hand swept through his greasy hair to make sure it’s no worse than usual...

"Gotta talk and plot and plan...but not here. Come on." Sylvi gestures for Siv and Symon to follow her out onto one of the regular paths in the woods.

"Into the woods" She hums

and follows

“If I see a little girl in a red scarf, I’m outta here.”

Following along.

When they're a bit away from the Lodge, she says, "I don't want the older set to know the details. Not yet. Okay, so...listen...there's something we can do to help when Skallstrike comes, and Vali says you've gotta be part of it."

He perks up a bit at that. “I was worried we’d just sit around with our thumbs up... Uh. Twiddling our thumbs while waiting to see if Death was coming from on high. Anything’s better than that.”

"Amen"

"Well...don't know if you'll agree when you hear what it is." She looks around to make sure they're not being overheard, then whispers. "Okay...when he comes to attack? We go to raid his lair."

His eyes widen, then narrow thoughtfully. Or perhaps greedily. “....I read a story once where a dragon stored their heart aside from their body, separated by a great magic. It made the wyrm unkillable... until a thief stole their heart. If he has a weakness hidden there...” the sluagh mimes opening a box, then a stabbing motion.

A frown. "Well...yeah....but there's a catch. I got this tip from another dragon, Nocturnus...and the price is the contents of the lair. We each get to choose one thing, and the rest goes to Nocturnus. There's a gem that none of us are allowed to claim, too."

“The arkenstone, naturally.” He murmurs to himself. To Sylvi, “did you promise the dragon that it would get the stone, or just that YOU wouldn’t take it? Exact wording...” Curiously, calculating.

"Oh Symon, let's not cheat the dragon helping us"

Siv says

Sylvi's eyes widen. "I promised that I would pass the word along. The word being that anybody who took it would make an enemy. Symon...I really wouldn't recommend it."

He sighs. “It’s... very October, okay? I’ll try to play fair. ...you’re right, anyways. All we need is TWO dragons mad.” Admits begrudgingly.

"Seriously." A bit of relief as he seems to be agreeing. "So I can count on you to come with?"

“You couldn’t keep me away.” A toothless grin. “This is primo LoTR fuel, I can’t pass it up. Though... if you REALLY want to play to the game, you should bring a hobbit, too.”

"Uncle Vali always said Middle Earth Role Playing could be hobbit forming"

"I...don't know. It's supposed to be seven in the party, and I have to be one. You're another. Colton wants to be there." She pauses to swat Siv.

A careful look around. “Gerd might count.” A snicker!

"Siv can't go. Not because of the joke, but because she'll be doing evacuation runs with the boats."

And a grimace at the jest. “ also because of the joke.”

she chuckles at the swat and sighs at the bit about evac

"Gerd's going to stomp you if she hears that, but I do want her along. Flickerflash could be really really helpful."

"Dagmar for sure. Like, she's a given."
