"I JUST found out about it like an hour ago!" She says LOUD

"Who'd you find out from, Gerd?"

"Tove kinda.. she is getting plans for a She-Shed to move her studio.. I asked her why she needed to.." Gerd gets up and opens the ktichen door so she can say again "I only found out an hour ago, Dagmar and mostly by guess work"

"Fuck off, Gerd."

"Did I do something to deserve your shit?" Gerd scowls

"Yeah, you did. You wanna get more of it?" She glares back, balling up one hand into a fist.

Sylvi sighs and follows into the kitchen. "Gerd, maybe people want to be the ones to announce their own news?"

Gerd's eyes narrow, "Try it and you'll be free falling into a lake or worse"

A roll of her eyes. "Both of you cut it out. You're being ridiculous."

A soft whimper from under the counter.

"Hey, I'm not the one who threatened someone because I just wished them.." she hears the whimper and winces "Hey, Connor, you okay? It's okay. it's okay. We just had a bit of a rise in mood"

"Oh, you think you're hot shit because you have an art."

"I wurn't going to eat ALL the cookies. Honest."

"It's obnoxious kiddy bullshit."

Gerd ignores Dagmar and moves to Connor "it's not you, little bro. It's just.. well, apparently a sore subject." and she hugs him

Dagmar growls when Gerd ignores her, bringing down a fist to slam against the counter.

A yelp and he streaks out from under the counter in a quicksilver flash, practically scrabbling on all fours, and out the door!

"Whoa...gonna bust up Mom's kitchen, and then she'll be pissed. "

NOW Gerd looks over at Dagmar "Seriously? In front of Connor you had to do that?"

A sigh. "Gerd, can you go take care of Connor?"

"Oh, make ME the bad guy?"

"Gerd. Take care of Connor." No longer a question.

"Oooo, I'm gonna jump you over a laaaaAAAaaaAaakkkeee" Mocking.

"You arrogant little shit."

"no, you made yourself the bad guy. I'm just your excuse" She turns.... and heads out to take care of Connor.

Dagmar's nostrils flare, gaze going red with rage.

And slams the kitchen door

"Do NOT mess up my mom's kitchen, Dagmar. Come on...let's go to the ring."

She's breathing heavily, teeth grinding together, both hands clenched in fists.

Sylvi frowns. "You're gonna hit me?"

"Come on...let's go out." She nods to the kitchen door.

She growls and stalks out.

Sylvi follows. When they're in the ring, she hands Dagmar a practice halberd, and gets the hell out of the way.

She has enough control to lay into the pells, not Sylvi...

And it's likely a good thing, because it takes only a few blows before she shatters the practice weapon.

"We've got more," she points out, gathering up bits of weapon.

A grunt, and she hits the pells bare-knuckle.

Sylvi just watches for a bit, occasionally cleaning her nails.

The wood cracks and splinters, her hands bruise and bleed.

She winces. "Um...it's that bad?"

A grunt and she kicks the pell.

"How dare she!"

"Don't think she meant anything really bad by it." A pause. "So...you're not happy about the new baby?"

Scowl.

"Why shouldn't I be fucking thrilled? Only bad guys wouldn't be happy about it."

KICK.

"Nobody said that."

"Don't have to."

"Oh, please." Sylvi sighs. "Don't even try that with me." She looks around. "Hang here for a second." And ducks back into the kitchen.

Dagmar paces back and forth, restless.
