She nods.

"I thought I was seeing something going on with you two." Sylvi looks at her. "I mean, more than just you getting all nervous. I hope he's not as much of a jerk as he has been."

"ugh. another one down to the love bug " A sip

"He's nicer with me." Shrug.

"He thinks I'm pretty."

"you are pretty, dork" Gerd says "I'm the ugly sister of this crowd"

"Ugh. Both of you." Sylvi throws her hands in the air and gives them both up as lost causes.

"Says the hot one" Gerd smirks

"Yeah, well..." Frown, blush, shrug.

"Sides, you both like basketball..so you have something in common"

"..yeah.."

Sylvi smiles. "Thank you," to Gerd.

"Honestly, though? It's mostly that I just pay attention to what works for me. You've got your own style that works, Gerd, you know that. And Dagmar knows what to do when she wants to."

"mm yeah, Dagmar can rock the hair dyes"

"But Dagmar, for real...I hope he doesn't piss you off. Cuz if he does...yikes."

A scowl.

"Well. He... yeah, well..."

"He'd probably not want to date if there were a sidhe around, maybe."

"A sidhe is around," Gerd says "And available. Nadeen dumped Zane."

A sigh. "Well, if that's how he's gonna be, then he's not worth your time."

"I dunno."

"I got issues, yeah? So..." Shrug.

"Well, I do know. I mean...come on, you've had other guys look at you before. You don't have to settle for him if he starts treating you like crap."

"If he does... zam woosh.. flash to the lake" A sip

"He asked me."

"If I wanted to go out, yeah?"

"Oh, cool. I thought maybe....well, asked something else."

Sylvi sticks her tongue out at Gerd, then repeats "Jeaaa-louuussss!"

"We didn't. We had stuff, then we went to the market."

"It was crazy. At first I thought it was just going to be a fun ride to, well, y'know...but then suddenly we're coming back from the Dreaming and I have no idea what happened. Pretty sure we had fun there, though."

"Welllll...probably a little of both," she grins.

"Ugh" But a good natured ugh.

Then "Oh, congrats on being a big sister, Dagmar."

She darkens, like a storm cloud.

"Does everybody fucking know?"

"Was there, what, a press release I missed?"

"Wait...what?" Sylvi blinks at Dagmar. "Seriously?"

A grunt, and she stomps off for the kitchen.

Sylvi watches her go, and then turns to Gerd. "Seriously? Tove's pregnant?"

She rummages around - too forceful with the cupboards and drawers, slamming and banging.
