“Oh.” He licks at a stray crumb on his fingers. “That’s ok, I’m probably too old for costumes anyways.”

"No way."

"You are the perfect age for costumes."

"No such thing as too old for costumes." Kerri is firm about this.

“Maybe? I gotta go. There’s this squirrel who keeps talking rude to me, but I think I can run fast enough to catch him now. Then we’ll see who’s a (chatter, squeak click click)”

"Back before sun-down, Connor!" Kerri calls after him.

“Of course, that’s when the fire will be!” He calls back before vanishing.

She shakes her head.

A quick grin flashes over Adam's face.

Kerri sighs, grinning. "That boy."

"Well, can't say he's boring!"

"Certainly not." Kerri grins and clears up Connor's plate, taking it to the kitchen.

Adam traces over some of the furniture carvings with a light touch.

"Hey..." A not eof concern.

Water running in the kitchen, sounds of clean-up.

"Yeah?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah, fine. You?"

Siv comes in looking bedraggled but wearing a huge Loki helm, ala the movie /marvel version. She's clearly been in battle.

"Yeah, sure. Just... " Blink. "Hi Siv."

"Hey, Kerri or mom here?" SHe says, then notices "Oh Hi, Adam."

"Kerri's in the kitchen. I can go get her?"

"I'm here," Kerri says, having heard the arrival. She comes through the door and stops short, looking at Siv. "What on earth...?"

Jonas walks in as well, having Heimdell (MCU version) Helmet on. He tooks battered.

"What happened?"

"...I think Asgard?"

"There was a chimerical altercation at comic con which required due diligence" Jonas explains

The mortal blinks.

"We got into a fight" Siv says "Long story..." Tenderly she moves to Kerri, "But we saved some folks, a few burns are worth it"

Kerri sighs. "Every year, I forget what weekend that's going to be. And every year, something blows up there. Come and sit."

"Wait, you got to go to Comic-Con!"

"Man."

"Jonas, are you hurt too?" Kerri asks as she helps Siv remove enough armor so she can see where the burns are.

"Actually we didn't think of that either" Siv admits, "We just heard reports of a dragon in the area and we went to scout it out ... you know, in case. Well, turned out all the rage the fans had for a lack luster ending to the Game of Thrones series fueled the creation of..well, you get it, a dragon chimera."

Siv hisses lightly as the armor over her left shoulder and breast is moved, second degree

"Oh, for Dreaming's sake. Some mortals...." A sigh, then, "No offense, Adam."

"Cater to Siv, please Hearth. My own incinerations are on par, but she is a daughter of the lodge."

That from Jonas.

Siv looks at him, "All the more reason you should tend to him first... mother would want me to see to others"

Eye-roll.

Kerri sighs, then rubs her hands together briskly, saying, "Well, I'm glad you went to help, because you had the ability to help, and..." she presses her hand to Siv's shoulder "...with great power comes great responsibility." She intones the phrase with only a bit of a wry grin.

Second degree burns are along Jonas' right side. They must have fought side by side.

"Couldn't help yourself eh?" Siv says then relief floods in.

"Would you have wanted me to?" Kerri leaves Siv and goes over to Jonas. She takes a look at the wounds, then lightly presses a hand against them, looks him square in the eye, then raises her other hand, and.... SNAP.

Adam may watch as at least the revealed shoulder goes from supernasty to... lighter and lighter burns.

"Magic, huh?" To Adam, a low tone.

"Jeeze...."

"Yeah." He agrees.

"I'm no good with it, but man..."

"Yeah."
