"Yeah..." The Demon flutters up narrowly avoiding Mackerel's attack

"Nice try Bootless pus!" The imp says

"Hey, be good." She scoops up the cat.

Mackerel fusses! There's a hunt going on

"Darn thing thinks I'm some kind of mouse just because I have a tail and am small" from Nabuni

"Well... you are about the right size."

"Mmmph.. don't take her side she's trying to eviscerate me. I thought trolls were dog people?"

"I have a cat."

"Mmm well, no one is perfect" the imp observes.

"Odin thinks he is."

That makes her laugh "Odin is your cat right?"

"Yup! He's a Siamese."

"Yeah well, cats might be biased, but hey thanks for keeping her off me" A nod to Mackerel

Grunt. "Troll."

"Nice troll" she says

"But msot of you seem nice. I like this barony" The imp says happily, then tilts her head at Dagmar

"Me too. They are nice, for real."

Sylvi comes down stairs, a little bounce in her step, grinning quietly to herself. She glances over and sees them. "Oh...hey, Dagmar. Nabuni? Did you come over with Adam?"

"Nope, on my own. Just talking."

"You've met Nabuni?"

Nabuni say "Yeah, we've..." ZOINK Suddenly her little devil tail shoots up straight and she looks at Sylvi with a smile, "oh hoo you've..,."

"Yeah, we've...." Then she stops and GLARES at the little critter, pointing. "Hush, you!"

"What? I think it's great that ..." She notes that blue finger that while not Dagmar strong could probably s till flicker into a cat's mouth "That you're still setting fashion trends"

A blush, and she lowers the finger. "Right. Yes. And you should see what I'll be wearing to the rave." A deep breath. "Soooo....homework, huh? Yeah. Good." Nodding.

"Yeah. Have to do it allll weekend."

"Which I guess beats being grounded..."

"Well, yeah. Anything you need help with?" Another warning glare to Nabuni.

Nabuni seems to be ooing a little like she's caught a sunbeam

"Well... I'm putting off math. Did Ms. Pittfield explain what she wanted in the essay?"

And Sylvi's turning a rather impressive shade of lavender.

"Well, you've got to make a thesis about the story you read, and then explain why you think it's the thesis. Need to give story details as evidence. It's not too hard, I think."

Eyebrows down, shifty look between the pair.

"Oh..."

She's trying to sound casual.

"Thesis: something big happened while we were gone."

Happy sigh

"Uhhhhhh...." Nope, no clever rejoinder happening there. Totally busted.

"I...well...yeah." A sheepish shrug.

"Yeah?"

"Um. Yeah. I just...don't know what you'll think." Walking on egg-shells.

"Why? Did you do something bad?"

"Doesn't seem like it..."

"Well, I don't think I did." A pause, then a whisper. "Colton and I...y'know..."

And Nabuni looks quite full
