He watches..... maybe a little wistfully.

She is having a grand time.

After a while, Adam calls up. "Ok, so... see ya around. Gonna head home."

"No problem. If you ever want to try this out, you only have to ask"

"Feels like begging..."

"Yeah well, that's a problem with your feelings, not a problem with anyone else."

She shrugs "I'm going to apologize for not being a mind reader"

And she flies off.

" oh, I get it. Loud and clear. No one cares." He waves. " see you, Tabitha. "

He heads back to his car, and home.

At home, he steps into his room. "Nab?"

Nabuni yawns "Hey"

"Oh." He quiets. "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you."

"No, it's good, how are you?"

"Kay." He picks up his b-ball and drops onto his bed. His fingers flick the ball into the air, and he catches it over his face. Again. Rythmicly.

"You sure? "

"oh. Wanna talk about it?"

Up. Catch. Hold. "Dunno. Chief sent Sylvi to get me after work. Wanted to talk."

"Well that sounds good. Unless you were in trouble for something?"

"ARE you in troulbe?"

A shrug. Up, catch. "Don't think so. She just gave me my orders for Pennons and went on patrol."

"Hey, you get to go! I mean, you want to right?"

"Yeah."

"Great. Dagmar will be there right?"

Up, catch. "Guess so. Chief seemed to think so. She said she was, you know. Looking forward to it."

"Well yeah, Pennons are great... Jousting, Melee.. and the FOOD oh it's so good. Oh and music and art too. Crafts"

"You want to ride along?" Up, catch.

"Please" She says "It'll be fun! That is if won't get in the way? I mean I can go elsewhere while you do the important stuff but hey you'll love it"

A long pause. "No... no, Nab, if you come with me, you stay with me, right? You ok with that?"

"Sure I guess... But if you need me to look around of spy for you I'm not half bad at that"

"Nah. Thanks though." Up, catch.

A half grin. "I'll eat a lot. Different stuff."

"Oh you'll have variety... see, different kiths are often tied to different lands. the Boggans do the most cooking, but they know that everyone likes a touch of the 'old country' but the old country could be Scandanvia, France, even Persia.. and more. Kentucky Fried Scwharma is a thing for Fae"

"Huh?"

"I mean they have all sorts of fae fusion foods" A grin

"Oh, ok. Cool." Up. Catch.

"You lke jousting?"

"Sounds like I would!" a grin.

"You totally would. It's like skill and POWER"

"It's... like ... everything, right? Jousting and stuff... like... all the stuff you read and .... the games, and..... Everything?"

"Oh yeah, some you might not have heard of, but there are jugglers and minstrels, there are jousters and sword fights"

"Yeah, Sam said."

"I hope you get to see a lot of it."
