"It's... so lively. Chieftain." She edges past the pooka on the floor who is "Marching" his raisins one by one to the logs, and singing softly as he does, hurrah, hurrah, and joins Brekke.

Kerri introduces herself to Piper and then offers food. "We have snacks here, but you haven't eaten much in a while. Maybe some eggs?"

"Yes, Chieftain..." Gerd heads out to do the same.

"It is not always so," Brekke says to Piper. "This is a sudden influx."

"I understand you are related to the Wayburtons."

"It's so exciting. You never know what they'll come up with. Kids are the best. I didn't have any siblings growing up." She covers a giggle as a tail tickles her ankles, but then sobers up again to answer first Kerri, "Is there maybe some coffee? I'm not much for breakfast." Then to Brekke, "Yes, Marsha is related to one of my moms, they're cousins - big family. I forget how the one-twice and first-seconds work."

Gerd comes in with three childlings. One Eshu by the shoulder, two bruised twin trolls, but Lucjan has a cut on his arm which has been hastily bandaged. "HEarth, Chief Ikenna did a 'lets you and him fight' with Lucjan & Lauge. THEY used some of the NON practice weapons. I think I better put those away. Connor knows better than to play with them."

"I just call them all my aunties and uncles..." She adds, filling the silence...

Kerri grins and points Piper at the coffee urn. "Coffee, we have."

The two twin boys flush with embarrassment.

The Eshu however says "They want to be warriors? I was just encouraging"

Brekke raises a brow at the three of them. "Lucjan, let me see."

"I will take responsibility for not having instructed you about the use of practice weapons. However, you will take responsibility for knowing better. You are old enough."

Lucjan comes forward and hols out his arm.

"Yes, Chieftain" LucJan says "I'm sorry."

"me too, Chieftain." Lauge says

She undoes the bandage and looks at the wound, casting a quick glance at Ikenna when he does not also claim responsibility.

"Lauge, come close and give me your hand."

She moves out of the way to pour a cup of coffee, adding cream and sugar to hers - and looking to see if there is any empty mug on the table, by either adult lady.

Brekke just filled her mug a moment ago. Kerri is a moving target.

Lauge does so ,obediently.

Ikenna is admiring the wall. Gerd has headed up to roof

She murmurs to Kerri, "Can I help? Cocoa for the others, or something - keep them busy?"

Dagmar tromps in, smelling of hay and horse.

Brekke takes Lauge's hand and presses it atop Lucjan's wound, gently. "Brother must not draw brother's blood....although many a good tale may have come of it in the past. Listen to those tales, but do not endeavor to recreate them. Do I have your accord in this?"

Lauge nods looking SO guilty "I won't bleed him!"

Lujan nods looking just as miserable "And I won't him!" Oh the guilt. They have failed as trolls. The shame

Dagmar hears hammering above.

Then the hammering stops

Their agreement is enough to spin the glamour into thread that knits the wound closed, and it begins to heal. "Well enough. Go wash your hands."

Kerri guides them to the sink in the kitchen to do so...and then enlists them to wash and dry dishes.

THe two twins go to wash "yes, Chieftain"

A deep breath at the end of the hammering, and then a deep drink of coffee. "Ikenna, I think you know that I am not pleased that you encouraged that."

Brekke gestures to Piper that she should make herself comfortable at any of the chairs or benches in the room.

"Oh I would not presume to know " He bows (Truthful sort of) "but it is an honor ot meet you Chieftain, I have heard of your great tales but it will be wonderful to hear of your fights and deeds."

She perches on a footstool, hands cupped around the mug, and observes...

"Hm. You may have to hear of them from somebody other than myself...or perhaps you will craft some after Pennons, if all goes well. That is...if you are permitted to join us at Pennons." A sip.

There's a ripping sound on the roof.

A worried glance upwards, and she flicks a look over to Dagmar. She mouths "Is that OK?" With a finger pointed upwards...

A scowl upwards. "Gerd, would you...?"

A slow eyebrow and a shake of her head. Nope.

Gerd is already up there.

Then a moment later a little girl's voice "Well, no one furking told me JERSEY had hurricanes..."/"It wasn't a hurricane" Gerd says coming down with her "it is a cross wind"

A sigh.

Thane Tiffany comes in smiling big , her tail wags "Suck it, Snoopy... mine is better than..." She stops, her big brown eyes drink in the room, "I'm sorry... did Fagan leave his kids with us?"

Dagmar eyes the satyress, quietly sizing her up. "...I'm Dagmar." She offers, gruffly.

Gerd says "Chieftain, we may have lost a bit of the roof but nothing serious... I got her before she fell."

"Why would I not be able to go to Pennons? I am an Eshu! Born to wander free!" The Ikenna says shocked. Consequences? those are for losers!

"Okay furking fine..." the nocker huffs "I would have gotten it."

A wry grin from the Chieftain to Tiffany. "Fagan would make quite a profit off this lot, I think."
