The little Imp looks miserable.

"My point is...how do you decide who to take over? Because if you just jump in and take over, without anybody's consent...I mean...that's like a mortal date-rape drug. And, like...okay, satyrs have the Gift of Pan, but fae know about that. They know that if satyrs start playing music or singing or whatever, if you decide to stick around, you're agreeing to whatever happens next. And some places have rules about that, too. I know Firnost is a no-Gift-allowed place. So...maybe you and Adam could work out some rules about when it would be okay?" Doubtful, but trying.

"I AM NOT ..." The Imp flares up "A Date rape drug! I don't MAKE anyone... Ooo.. i ... She doesn't understand"

"Easy easy, Nabuni. Sylvi is pointing out that your powers are scary to some"

"They are." Sylvi nods. "And, okay, you're not a date-rape drug, but I don't see the difference that you see. And possession? Geez....yeah, you're probably not going to get on Adam's good side again unless you have rules about who you can do that to. And...." She stops. "Wait. Okay, I know what you looked like when you came in, and I know what you look like now," indicating the Sylvi-clone, "...but do you only possess females?"

"I can possess men, but it's more difficult. I was born of dreams that were more oriented towards one side of things... so it feels weird to me. I like to think it's how a transperson might feel if.. oh.. I wonder if I would have an easier time possessing a transwoman? I should go find one sometime, maybe at .."

"Focus, Nab" The Hare says.

"Oh, right" Nabuni says "I have possessed men before."

Sylvi bites her lip a moment, considering the chimera and thinking. "This...is probably a terrible idea...."

"mmm?" Ears park from the Hare

"Well...if, like you say, it's not so bad to have you possess a person...like, you say you don't hurt them, and you don't do more than they want to do...well...." A deep breath. "You'd have to get his permission first, and you'd probably need a chaperone or something, but...maybe if you could convince him to let you possess him, he could see what it's like? And then...like...he could make an informed decision about how good or bad it is?"

"Posssess the oen I'm.. bonded to?" Baffled. "is.I mean I COULD I guess with his permission yes I..' Mystified.

"Okay, so explain to me why that's such a different thing that possessing just anybody?"

"And...who birthed you in the first place?"

"A guy in the 1980s"

"Somebody related to Adam, maybe? Or was it just that you were in that house?"

"The House. Adam is new..but he woke me... I almost vanished entirely" Nabuni said "Without the purity of his lust I'd be ashes"

"P-purity? Of lust?" Sylvi's not sure whether to laugh or just blush harder. The dream is suddenly quite present in her memory.

The little chimera looks at her, and then twirls her tail and smirks "I have a knack for knowing things, Sylvi. And wilders period are thriving with that. Why YOUR fantasies are..."

"AHEM, none of your business, Nab," Floppsy says, "And I thank you not to try to peek. Sylvi is my FRIEND... and I will not have her poked at for amusement"

Nab says "Poked at for..."

"NAB!" The rabbit thumps his leg

She snickers

"See? That's the sort of thing that makes it Not Okay. If it's something that Flopsy feels I'd want to be protected from...and thank you, by the way, Flopsy....then what makes you think Adam's going to be okay with letting you do it to somebody else? Especially somebody he likes."

At that the imp lowers her head "oh."

"I can't.. I'm..dreamed that way?" Nabuni says "But I'll try to be more understanding"

A deep breath. "Maybe...I dunno...if Adam could find people who really wanted to go out dancing...but I don't even know if he dances."

"well, it's not always dancing sometimes it's just singing in a shower or laughing... I.. mmm I need to talk to Adam. He's really a great guy though you know? " Nabuni says "he's so imaginative.... and he can be brave"

"Yeahh...I think talking is a pretty big step here. Maybe should have started with that, more. But...well, do you want me to be there, too? I mean, since we've already talked and I kind of understand where you're coming from a bit better now, maybe I can get him to at least listen to you? I'm not sure I'm in your corner, really, but...you should have a chance to talk."

"That's what I would like to ..apologize and explain" Nab says "The hold is great, but eventually I would start trouble.." Sheepish

"Eventually, she says..." Sylvi mutters, tugging her robe a little tighter around her.

"Look...here's the thing...if you do something that's going to hurt Adam? You're out. As far as I'm concerned, anyway. Sorry, Flopsy, but if she's the kind of chimera that only survives if people get hurt? Well...that's the kind of chimera we hunt, isn't it?" Matter-of-fact. "So, Nabuni, you've gotta find a way to do what you do without hurting him or anybody."

"I don't hurt anyone" Nabuni says "Why does she keep saying that?" A look to Floppsy

FLopys rubs at his head with a paw, looking for a moment kind of like the Chief on a stressful day

"Hey, from what I hear, Adam's hurt. Maybe not physically, but emotionally. And that counts."

"With all due respect, Adam has a knack for snatching offense from the jaws of day to day converstaion, let alone more magical moments. Communication between thse two needs to happen, and THREATENING Nab , even with the polices of Rivervale, is not productive at this time. Nab is also hurt. And Neither you or I can really fix that, Sylvi. Nabuni, you have been told not out of malice but honesty... Sylvi is very intelligent and knows how the lodge works. She is not trying to threaten per se, despite how she might sound... you want her help, you need to also heed her wisdom."

"Warning, not threat," Sylvi clarifies. "You might not want to change up what you do, but if you don't modify it somehow, that's going to be a problem."

"Look, I'm trying to give you a chance, here. And I'm offering to help convince Adam to listen to you."

"I'm going to get dressed." She turns to her closet, then looks back. "Nabuni, could you wait outside?"

"Oh sure.." Nabuni says and then adds, "Uhm.. .thank you. I don't... Iknow I worry you but i Hope I'm not being a bitch, you know? I just worry about Adam. And I misss him" A sigh... and she slips out

Flopssy turns "Thank you for hearing her out, Sylvi." And he politely turns his back in case she does need to change

A sigh. "Flopsy, you've seen me naked since I was born. You don't bother me."

"I know, but it's about.. well, manners" He says then chuckles as he does turn, "I do seem to recall someone wearing nothing but her mother's much bigger shoes"

Sylvi smiles a bit as she pulls clothes on. " I don't even remember that."

"You were very young. Your mother fussed over you, and foguht very hard not to laugh"

"I like that," she says of the memory. Then she sighs and the smile slips away. "Flopsy...if Nabuni and Adam can't sort this out...."

"Then she'll need a new home" The rabbit says "And it can't be in the lodge. I know that much"

"It might have to be really far away. Can she re-bond?"

"Yes yes... I'm sure she could with effort. A loss for Adam"

"Not sure how it's a loss for him. I mean...losing you would be a HUGE loss for me, but how is she helping him?"
