He accepts and sips at it, glancing to Sylvi. “So what’s your hot take on new kid?”

Dag's mood seems to be improving - Symon might have noticed the red in her eyes or the muss of her hair from a good cry, despite her efforts to wipe off the evidence.

Tove sighs "Our nordic heritage spurned by the younger wilder set. It pains me so."

"Oh, hey, Symon....I was wondering...Adam's been hearing stuff at night. Said it was kind of a slurping sound? Not sure if it's in his room or outside his window. I thought maybe you could take a look?"

A bit of a frown at Symon's question. "I don't know. He bugs me a bit."

She nods to Tove. "I figured it might help him sleep."

He looks intrigued. “I wonder if it’s a giant slug. Cool.” A small nod at her response. “Is it cuz he’s a Sidhe, or just his sparkling personality? He hasn’t tried to pull rank like Nadeem so that’s a point at least.”

"He's...." She stops and blinks at some thought. "Oh."

“Well, Sidhe lite. Diet Sidhe?”

"You think kith affects kinain that much?"

A grin. "Nice. No, I just realized...he's annoying me the same way that Colton used to annoy me before...well...before he didn't anymore."

He blinks, and shrugs a bit. “Should I tell Colton to come put the fear of Colton into him?”

Sylvi grins at Dagmar's response to the horse question.

Footsteps.. and down comes Tove with a cardboard Box "I was supposed to give this to you when you came back from camp but I forgot so much going on"

"Oh, it's been crazy, yeah..." She takes the box, curious

Sylvi exchanges a curious glance with Symon, then watches Dagmar examine the box.

When she opens it, there's a wooden statuette about a foot long from tail to head... a figurine of a horse, and not just any horse, but Stormwake

"Oh, wow..."

“Now that’s real skill..” impressed, and a touch envious.

Sylvi's eyes go wide. "Oooohhhh...."

"He was such a pain too. I wanted to get him still..dignified, but I'd start to work... and he'd start to strut around" A sigh "I finally gave up and just went for this. "

A grin. "That sounds like him."

"Cock of the walk it would appear" Tove agrees, then looks at her daughter, "Dagmar? do you like it? If you don't I can try again"

"It's real nice." Softly, but smiling.

"I'm glad then. It's my way of saying welcome back, and your father's too. He found the wood. A tree got struck by lightning. So he took some of it"

He leans in to peer scloser. “It’s impressive how you got the neck to curve like that. Looks like he could stamp right off. When I do my minis they always look... static. Your have more life.”
