Sylvi blinks. "Well, I just mean...if one group's 'perfect' is another group's 'hell'...."

"You always try, Sylvi. Maybe not for perfect, but yes, Dagmar, for better. And Sylvi, I'm sorry. I see what you mean, but if.. if one gives up on trying period, then one leaves Thyle with Thralls. One leaves The Sidhe ruling here in Concordia with no other kith ever allowed to earn knighthood or rule. Sylvi's brow furrows slightly. "I just mean...well, 'perfect' is so subjective. 'Better' makes sense...but it's gotta be 'better' by everybody's standards, as much as possible."

Sylvi laughs a bit at that. "Okay, that's fair. If it comes up, I'll report to Mom that you upheld Dream, Honor, and the Fae Way."

Bzzt:I’ll swing by there maybe. He’s not far, and I can sneak out once the folks go to bed. We should keep an eye on his sister. Lightning might strike twice there. Not sure if half sister? Didn’t meet her.

"Well, pretty good." A bit of a blush there. "I mean, we've been able to see each other a lot this summer, but it's still tricky with him squiring and all."

She looks at the door.

"He's a dedicated young man," Tove says.

"He is," she says with a fond smile.

The door opens and Symon steps in. He gives a small grin around the door. “Didn’t want to barge in if you were lessoning or whatever. But I was around.”

"He went home." Odin leaps down from Dagmar's shoulders, yammering and looking for Lovecraft.

BIC: "Hello, Symon. Would you like some out of date milk?"

"Hey, Symon."

"Actually, think he went to work."

He offers a small parcel to Tove. “Sure, and Anne Marie went this. Apple Brown Betty, and she says thanks for the potato salad. Even though it was a little spicy?” He looks confused. “Seriously I think she thinks black pepper is spicy.”

He looks completely unenthused by the cinnamon smell wafting from the package, but interested at the prospect of slightly aged milk.

"Not as spicy as that funky cabbage stuff you like."

He grins. “I keep tellin’ ya, it’s good if you’d just try it. Sylvi, you want a Kim chi showdown?”

"Pass," she says with a wrinkled nose.

Tove takes it, "Thank you. "A laugh "And I'll try to remember to bland it down a touch for her." SHe goes into the kitchen with the applebrwon betty
