"THe book" Nadeen says "We need it."

.... and he catches sight of Sam. "Woah. She's huge."

"You realllly need to stop saying that..again" Nadeen says with a hiss "It's not like youv'e forgotten yet. The enchantment is still on"

Siv says "Fine. I'll get it myself." And she leaps up to the second s tory ledge

Adam is about to respond to Nadeen when Siv jumps..... his eyes go HUGE.

"HOLY SHIT!!!"

"Just go with it, man. Freaking out won't help."

He scrambles out of the car.

Siv peeks into the windows looks about, then smiles, and slips into Adam's room

Zane will say "Siv's not patient"

"Nope, she ain't."

"She just... she just... she...."

"She jumped."

"I mean, she's also a blue giant. So."

"... in a bikini." He finishes weakly, lean-sitting on the side of the car hood.

"Yeah. Some parts of our lives are pretty weird."

Siv peeks out, A nice display "I can't find it"

Adam's face is a picture.

"Uh. Uhhh...."

"Well, go in and GET it. Jeez."

"I... go. Get? Kay." He pushes off the car and walks (none too steady) to the house, going inside.

"Hey, kiddo" His dad say

Adam looks at him blankly, then with some relief. "Hi. Um. Gotta go. Just came in to... for a book." He heads upstairs.

He slips into his room; Siv won't be easy to miss.

Siv is there... "So where is it?" She's kind of flipped things around, made a bit of a mess

Adam stares at her a moment, shakes his head. Then he rummaged through some of her mess and finds it. "Got it. Can you come down the stairs again, will my folks see you?"

Actually. He does NOT find it. IT's missing.

He keeps rummaging. "It was here. It was -here-...."

"Great. Well, normally I'd say it just wouldn't get up and walk away, but in our world.. who knows? Anyone might have taken it?"

"No! I mean.... my kid sister used to take my stuff but she wouldn't want a book like that."

"Your little sister? A girl, no interest in a book with the word 'fairy' on the cover?"

Dubious brow.

(And a dead ringer for her mom not that Adam woudl know)

"Nah."

"Find.out."

He blinks, but she's a giant, so he turns to the door..... then turns and looks back. "Did you ask me if I wanted a kiss?"

"It was a way of enchantment, and you blew it so I went with the coin. Sorry, you snooze you loose, even in the Dreaming." She gestures to the hall "Sides, I have baggage right now. Scoot. Duty first."

He looks confused but nods and slips into the hallway.

Going over to his sister's room, he can knock or just open it.

He compromises and eases the door open after listening, ready to knock if she's in there.

He peeks and... there's his sister with her dolls and stuffed animals set up for tea. And.. going "Today's book club, since mom will not let us look at her 50 shades book, is called Fairy the Imagining. I hear it has good reviews"

He raps once on the door and moves in. "That's mine. Give it to me."

"But Mrs. Primbriar is interested!" SHe ponts to the Victorian dressed Holly Hobit looking doll

"Give it back, I need it!"

"Do you have a replacement?" She says loftily

Is Mrs. Primbriar's gaze FOLLOWING him?

An exasperated sigh... followed by a nervous glance at the .... doll? "What, uh, what book do you want?"

"Can I have one with superheroes? They're not fairys, well, most aren't, but they fly"
