Giant bleeding eyes, Spiders that can move faster than the wind. the size of a mastif, snarling winged zombie cats.... and I'm killing them when they get close and trying to drive so they can't desperate to get to Firnost and make it home but not sure where I am so I call dad on speaker....AND HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD!'

"So.." A look back at the stable, "I need to get you on a ship again soon before you think horse are better than ships. "

A wistful, regretful look at Stormwake... the stallion is dozing in the sun, not paying the girls much mind.

then a glance over, "Hey, you never know how things will go. Maybe you'll get a horse of your own one day?"

"They're expensive."

"Yeah.." She agrees "I don't see it happening soon, mind you but ..." A shrug

"Okay.. so if you could have a horse like Stormwake..what color would she be? Or is it a she?"

"Oh... dark as thunder, sure. With white." Creative, that one.

Footsteps...and while the girls may think they have not spoken for all that long, it sounds as though the Chieftain is returning from her patrol.

"So.. mmm" She turns to hear the footsteps

"Mmm?"

"Mum! Dad's looking for you... he's working on the rig." A worried look as she declares it

Brekke pauses, looks in the direction of the parking lot. Then she nods. "Thank you." And she goes that way at a steady, measured pace.
