"Got it" she says smiling still

He pats her knee and stands. "See you at dinner."

"See you dad. I think I'm gonna get the swimsuit on and soak up some rays" she smiles

He sighs, nods, and goes back to work.

And soon, Siv will be laid out on the deck of the Kestrel in the direct path wearing only her itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini.

"Where is she? she said..." May is baffled.

"hey guys, sorry I'm late," Lupita says "Let's go find a dog." She is wearing a jacket despite the heat, her hand in one pocket of it.

Lupita says "Let's try..that way" and heads left

An eyebrow but no comment, not from the queen of the hoodie.

"You guys are going to keel over and melt dead one day" May says but follows.

"We're just sooooo cool..."

"Badass" Lupita says and 'seems' to wander along a surprisingly specific path, stopping now and then to rub at something in her pocket.

Sam follows her lead, keeping alert to their surroundings.

"Okay, we're going into the woods? why would a dog go into the..." May is asking.

"Dogs like to feel safe. Lots of cover..."

which is when Lupita falls down through greeenery cursing

"MOTHER #$#$#ING!"

"Shit!"

Sam goes to rescue her friend.

"I nearly stepped on him! Geez... son of a..."

It's a pit trap! A pit trap set up to catch small animals!

And someone has done it in the Chief's woods!

Sam glowers. "This is some poacher shit..." She offers Lupe a hand up.

"Theo is down here... but he's imapaled, they got like.. barbs and shit. He's lucky he's not Dead"

The voice sounds gutterl, angry

"Oh shit. Poor guy. We gotta get him out..."

"May, can you run to the Barn and get Tove?"

"Yeah yeah... but careful, if he's imapaled and you free him, it could cause the wounds to open again.."

May races off after giving that warning

"Lupe, breathe... okay? Chill. We're gonna save the dog first."

Theo is sounding panicked, garou and dogs are not always best buds... something feral in the former...

"FUCKING COWARDS!" Yup, that's a growl, Lupita's voice sounds deeper.

Dagmar reaches in and GRABS Lupe, hauling her up.

Lupe gets pulled up and almost strikes Dagmar with an increasingly large and slightly hairy palm before realizing what she's doing, and she takes that breath, holds her and back, "Sorry..." She has a light cut on her own foot... looks like she got pierced on the side of the heel.
