"package? of cold iron?" Nadeen says

"Well, hopefully melted iron now" The nocker admits "But not sure if the fire got hot enough"

She makes a face. "Sounds dangerous. If it's still iron, we can't just leave it there."

"I know i know, but I can't carry it reight now.. I'd forget wehre I am" SHe says

"Where is the this cliff?" Nadeen says perhaps with a tone of authority she does not possess

"You can't, but Rivervale can."

The nocker sighs "it was in a chest, about 12 bar sized chunks of dark iron. Furk... I hate to pass on my clean up to others... we Nockers, we don't shirk from work ya know?"

"We're aware... now where did it fall?"

"You aren't shirking if you are telling the right people how to get it. It's... supervising!"

"Hey, maybe it furking is" A grin "You're okay Dame Dagmeister!" The nocker's mein is faded, but her teeth still have that weird eel look some get

"Yes, she is. Now pardon, we must be off... and ..." A sigh , and the Baroness to be looks to Dagmar "We don't have a vehicle to get there"

"...Siv does."

"Text Siv please" Nadeen says "I'm going to find a box. With all the wood work taht goes on here, there must be something"

She nods and pulls out her phone. "Need car for important mission! Come to lodge?"

A response TXT: Mission? On way

"Siv's coming." She considers. "We'll have to be careful, though - you can't touch it at all, and Siv's pretty... yeah... maybe if we grabbed those big tongs for the grill?"

"Good idea" nadeen says after hauling out a wooden box with designs of stags and does on the sides

Dagmar goes to retrieve said tongs... and hey, oven mitts!

The sound of Siv's car whipping into the drive way

Dagmar waits.

And the door opens and Siv says "Okay, if this is something like a trip to the movies or comic book store I am going to be so pissed.. I.. oh" She sees the half faded nocker "Pardon me"

"Hey Siv. Dame Daffdyllia is getting right-of-rescued by the fire, but here's the deal - there's a load of unsecured cold iron in town. We don't want anybody getting it that shouldn't, you know?"

"Cold Iron? You know where it is?"

She nods.

"Might be cops and stuff there..."

"Well, then we better get a move on" Siv says "if cops come up, we'll.. think of something"

"We just don't want it getting where we don't know where it is. So... can you drive?"

She worries at a hangnail. "Somebody should stay behind with our guest..."

"I will" nadeen sighs "I don't drive ... here, take the box"

"You're probably the most vulnerable to iron... we don't want you to get sick, right?"

Nadeen says "Hopefully no one getsd undone. Be CAREFUl... and god help me if the Chief arrives while you're gone to explain things"

"That's why we're getting the iron, so nobody gets hurt."

Siv grabs some dross, "Let's go, Dagmar. "

Dagmar makes sure she has her supplies... tongs, mitts, box...

Siv helps "Lord, mum is gonna blow a gasket, but this is too important to leave be. Hurry hurry hurry to the car"

She hesitates. "Think we should wait for her?"

"We don't know when she'll arrive... we do know cold iron is in the barony and a threat to us all" Siv says firmly "Mum will be furious, but nor would she let it stay out in the open any longer than it had to. SHe loves her people too much and duty demands it. The fact we're doing what she would do may not make it sit any easier with her, but there it is. Let's go" Siv almost sounds like she's captaining a ship "Afore a soul is endangered"

"Okay. But you can't touch it."

"Whatever, MC hammer, let's move" and out they go

They hear the happy sounds of Oak and Edelweiss bounding and barking back from a patrol with the Chieftain.

Siv says "Well, there we go. " She gets Dagmar in "Can't believe I'm doing this." And she pulls up in her car to her mom as close as she can "Mom, get in. We might need help. We'll fill you in on the way there"

"Hi Chief!"

An eyebrow. Then she looks at the person in the passenger seat, whomever it may be, and solemnly intones, "Shotgun."

Looks like Siv driving, Dagmar is... soon perhaps to be was... in the passenger seat. Just those two

But they have a decorated wooden box, kitchen mitts, and tongs!
