A nocker! But not just any nocker, a nocker in steam punk platemail....her white hair blowing in the updraft of the wooosh from the neckline. She stands proud, and upon her shield is the symbol of House Dougal. A two headed hammer, one hammer face has the word "MAKE" on it... the other hammer head has the word "BREAK!" On it. When the door opens, she bows "I am Lady Dafdillya Whamsbottom ap Dougal. I humbly request a night near the balefire if possible" She does look pretty faded then in a sotto voice "I'm furking blinking worse than some old bitch's turn signal here"

"Oh.. um. Hi? Come in."

She stomps on in AFTER wiping her feet

Nadeen rises and curtseys

"Chief's not here, but if you're in need we can get you set up, I'm sure. Do you like coffee?"

"Sheehopetez, one thing I might need is a fricking stepladder... you giants get enough oxygen up there? Huh? Coffee? Yeah yeah that might be nice. Thanks a whole heap" Lady Whamsbottom walks towards one of the shorter chairs and plops in.

"Hungry?" She calls as she heads for the kitchen.

"If you have a sammwih of some kind I would not say no.,.. what's your name by the way kiddos?"

"Sandwich it is. Ham okay?"

"Yeah, but no mayo... a boggan put Mayo on my bread once.. .once." She says "So.. names?"

"Oh, Nadeen , unsained, of House Varich" Nadeen says

"I'm Dagmar." She returns, offering out plate and mug. She added a handful of potato chips AND a pickle to the side of the sandwich. Kerri would be proud.

"Thanks, Dagmar, Nadeen, nice to furkin meet you both" She says "My kith ain't the most freaking social, but I'm grateful"

"What brought you to Rivervale?"

"The need of a balefire... oh right, the whole barony thing... Truth to tell? It's where I tumbled out of from a moving truck. Don't worry, truck wasn't mine"

"A moving truck? Why were you clinging to a moving truck? And armed? Is there a bad guy?"

"There was" she says smugly

"...you beat him?"

"Well, arguably the truck going over the cliff beat him" She says

Nadeen's eyes widen

"What?"

"The putz went over a cliff in the truck. That's why I jumped out before hand" She says sipping her coffee

"Ok, so who was the putz, and why were you on his truck?"

"He was an agent of Baron Von Dunkelheit" she says, "An evil renegade formerly of House Dougal but who betrayed his house to make a fortune on the illicit dark iron trade! Furker deals in goods that kills souls, the sckudgewad. "

"...oh..."

So far, the nocker's words appear to be ringing true. "But... he.. was he fae? The driver?"

"Good on you, kid. The RIght to furking life is important" Lady Dafdillya says "And the answer is, unfortunately yes. Going over a cliff, with a small explosion then after fire will kill most of us"

"I.. think the Chief will want to talk to you about that, since it happened in her barony."

"Iron-seller or not, we have to follow the Escheat."

"The furk?" "I didn't kill him" She repeats "Or was I supposed to go down in the truck and die with him?"

"No..."

"But... I mean.. iron-sellers in THIS barony, and a dead fae, even if his own driving did him in..."

"I cannot speak for the Baroness," Nadeen says "But Dame Dagmar has a point that she WILL want to know..." then a nod as Dagmar has it covered

"Chief is gonna want to talk, I'm sure."

"oh, it's not being made or sold, just transported through" Lady Whamsbottom says, "But I see your furking point there"
