"And you don't have to, breakfast in bed is wonderful, and the thought definitely counts" She moves forward "It's a sign of honor and love and.. you are full of both" Tove nods. "In Thyle, we would say you are a blessing to your house and an honor to your clan."

Only a little purple. "That's... that's nice." A shy smile. "But today is for you, right? So you're supposed to take it easy and be appreciated."

"So I'm just supposed to goof off? Mmm " She ponders "If you suggest it, I'll try it."

"Yup. Goof off! Did you and Dad actually make it to the shore? I know he was fussing about the ocean."

"We did, I went swimming, but mostly I had..oh I'm glad I took that cookie, so much inspiration"

"New songs?"

Another brief blush as she thinks of something. "Well, I had fun. But I'm glad to be me again, too."

"Oh yes. Mmm Siv is going to like them as a lot of them are about the sea but I hope you like them too. A few are a bit ah..mushy"

"Well, Dad'll like the mushy ones."

"Even if he shows it in his own way" She says fighting the urge to sweep into the kitchen and help. Feeling a new comraderie with Kerri and Brekke.

"OH! CRAP!" Eggs!

Scrape scrape scrape... they're scrambled a bit hard, but not burned!

"He smiles, I've seen it." She fusses with the plate, arranging toast and bacon just "so." There is a bottle of hot sauce on the tray, of course.

"I think I like that he doesn't smile often, it means when we get him to do it- he means it"

"Ta-da!" She turns the tray around, setting it in front of Tove. Technically, the flowers are weeds - dandelions and snowdrops and wild violets.

"I'll take this to bed, shall I?"

"Only if you want to?"

"I do" She bends down to kiss Dagmar on the forehead

She ducks her head slightly after, shrug-and-smile. "I can carry it up."

"Okay. Say hi to your dad... before he goes to work"

"Yeah. Glad he had yesterday off, at least. OH, you might see Chief as a sidhe today! She had a cookie, too."

"Oh I bet she's stunning and going to be very confused when it wears off." Tove says heading to the bedroom

"Sounds about right." Dagmar follows, carting the tray carefully. No spills. (No potatoes, either, but that seems a mutually agreed upon subject.)

"She prefers Baroness right now. Mountain Frank's a boggan, and Miss Kerri was a sluagh."

Jaymes is already mostly dressed, slipping on his shoes when they come in.

Tove blinks "oh my, Kerri a sluagh? I.. the mind boggles." She opens the door "Jaymes, our daughter is getting me breakfast in bed."

Jaymes looks over and nods "Good."

"She cheated, snuck up on me cooking."

"mm" he nods to Dagmar, then looks to tove "Cheater"

Tove rolls her eyes "I'm getting back in bed." She slips into the sheets.

"There's extra coffee in the kitchen, in your travel mug."

"Thanks, " Jaymes nods "Don't forget your homework"

Grooooaaannn. "I could try to forget it, right?"

"Not if you don't want glares and lectures" He nods, "you'll be fine. Pester Betty if you need help iwth the Math, or Sally Mae"

"Yeah, yeah..." Huff. "Have a good day at work."

"Looking forward to it almost as much as you are your homework, but i'll get done" He kisses his wife on the lips, "Enjoy your mother's day, sorry I can't be here for it." Then he turns to give Dagmar a slight hug "Spoil her rotten."

"Can do!"

A nod and off he goes.

Tove looks up from her spot on the bed "You don't have to spend the whole day spoiling me. Breakfast in bed is fine."

"Well.."

"We could play video games, or see a movie?"

"Sure..which do you prefer?" She says enjoying her food.

And making sure to show that

"Video games? We could play Minecraft together."

"That's the building one? "

"Yup!"

"Let's get going on it then" She says carefully putting the tray mostly done to the side

"Sweet! I'll get it set up!" She tromps downstairs. Minecraft > homework, any day.

And with that, Tove has been used..used I say. She eyes the more burned parts of what's left on the tray and carefully discrds them so not to hurt feelings

Then goes to join her daughter for Minecraft My Daughter!
