Dagmar finds as Beltaine closes in, and preperation ffor a wedding in that evening continue that, well, she's certainly not shut out, she's trying on a suiit after all, but Tove has gone into full blown 'go go go' mode for herself, and to a lesser degree all around her.

The suit fits - a blessing, after the Sadie Hawkins debacle...

"You look wonderful," Tove gushes then "Sally Mae, do you think a different tie or bow tie or cravat..."

"I am NOT wearing a cravat."

Sally Mae has been taking shifts with Kerri to help out, fortunately both women have done a good job at helping Tove not complicate "I think if Dagmar likes what she has on now it's fine..looks good on you," Sally Mae adds to Dagmar

"...thanks..."

"Should I change? I wanted to help Kerri in the kitchen, too.."

"Kerri's fine now, but go ahead and change so we keep it from getting too wrinkled" Tove says "It's not yet but soonn oh this better go right"

"It'll go fine, Tove. Don't invite trouble" Sally mae says

"It'll be fine. If you're married, you're married. Right?"

"Da'an willing, I get married only once in this life, Dagmar, it's..it's very important to me to have the wedding be..> " Tove sighs "magical."

"...oh.:

"It will be" Sally mae assures, "Your dress , we've seen it, is beautiful. The music will be wonderful, and the weather, well if we have to use glamour on it, will be perfect"

"Plus, Jaymes'll be there."

"He better be" Tove says

"I'll make sure." She flexes her biceps.

In another room "uhm darn it" Jaymes voice.

Tove's look paniced "Something wrong with his suit. Oh no. We have to make fitting , a refitting.. and I..."

"So what? He can get married in voile. He'll fit Frank's stuff."

"Just breathe, Tove."

Sally Mae wishes Kerri were here but says "Dagmar is right, we'll make it work... now Dagmar, why don't you go check on your father okay?"

"Okay." Agreeably.

"Oh not just voile, this has to be... I want the mortal and fae side both and.. if his suit is shot or he has to borrow franks' ..." Tove bites her lip. Dagmar has never seen her like this. She is in a tizzy. But Sally Mae soothes

"If he does it will be fine... we'll make it work," Repeating says the kinian "Dagmar will check to see if he needs help. "

Dag knocks on her dad's door. "Hey? Everything okay?"

"Not really," he grumbles "I think my tie is trying to kill me and this shoe is scuffed....wish I could just wear boots"

"You look fine." She reaches up to loosen his tie. "The shoes make Tove happy, nobody can see the scuff."

"Tove can, I might be called the Ironhawk, but she's the one with eagle eyes lately" he says "I love her, but she's making me tense"

"She's nervous."

"So... be you about it, right? If you're calm, she'll feel better."

"Mmm" His thinking about it Mmm, not his waiting for an answer Mmm.

"Like, I was super worried about my saining, right?"

"But you reminded me it was gonna be okay."

"mmm." Then "yeah."

His tie is now looking acceptable and not too tight. It occurs to Dagmar her dad is a bit nervous himself.

or 'tense' as he puts it.

"It's gonna be fine."

"I just want her to be happy" He says

She crouches down and rubs at the scuff with some spit and her thumb. "Just stick to that, then."

"Thanks" He says and nods "I guess. How's she doing in there?"

"Sally mae's got her."

"She and Kerri have been taking shifts, Da'an bless em both" He says "I just wish I could see her tell her it will be okay"

"Well, why NOT?"

"I might see her in her dress and she'll freak" He says "It's bad luck. Or something" A shrug "I'm not sure when she's trying it on, so I just have to avoid her."

"Oof."

"Okay. So. SALLY MAE! IS TOVE WEARING REGULAR CLOTHES RIGHT NOW?"

"YES" Sally Mae calls back

"Well, yeah, there's that method" Her father admits

"Okay." she grabs his hand. "DON'T LET HER CHANGE"
