Afternoon is not here yet, so classes, and not meeting the chieftain.. yet. But Dagmar does see her daughter, Siv "Hey, how goes it?" Happy

Siv is a relief, and she gets a grin. "Hey."

"You're looking sharp." Siv nods at her cousin's clothes "The T shirt new?" Gesturing to the T shirt that says 'My Hammer says no' and has Lady Thor on it.

"Tove found it, yeah."

"She's got an eye for it" Siv says "Look, I didn't know if you knew it, but I've got a car now.. . .like in, I can drive it. So, if you need a lift sometime..." A smile "I could use it as an excuse to get around"

"You can finally drive? Awesome. We should, like, just... go somewhere. To do it."

"Absolutely. Truth to tell i"m so thrilled about I could pop" Siv says

Other fae walk by, a few who had done the wide skirt around Dagmar or the head bobs...

Her chin juts out, shoulders set square and defensive.

Siv ignores them, "Any place you want to hit later? The comic shop maybe? I'm kind of hooked on this romance one. Didn't know they still made em like that"

"Oh, I like comics. And I have some birthday money!"

"Oh then hell sure. Also they might have a T shirt with one of the heroes I Like. NOt that I don't like Thor, but I bet my boyfriend would like jme in a black widow t"

"You should get a shirt you like, not one for Lump."

"I like working him up, but I supose you have a point. I'm kind of fond of Spider Gwen. That's one cool costume"

"It is. I like the colors."

"I like the hoodie .. if I can get a hoodie shirt like that for next fall? Mmy yeah. Might not do anything for him, but would for me." A grin "There, more empowered for us girls?"

The others whisper, and some look sheepish

"Right. Oh, man, I saw this Captain Marvel hoodie online? But it's, like. fifty dollars."

"Geez.. I bet Aunt Kerri and others could find it cheaper, or maybe make something that looks real close or better?"

"Yeah, fifty dollars is ridiculous."

"Don't worry, good things to those who wait and all... I saw this swimsuit, really nice turqoise number? 30 bucks they want for it, and it's not much to it" She rolls her eyes

She wrinkles her nose. "I think the tinier the suit, the more it costs."

"I don't like swimsuits. Looks like you're running around in your undies."

"Well, some of us like that" wry "But I know it's not your style, and that's cool. But seriously, with summer coming up, we can hit the pools or the lake... heck, we might go watersking. Vali has the gear"

"Waterskiing sounds fun..."

"I wonder if Jaymes'll wanna go fishing again?"

"Probably. He has the patience for it. You should go with him. Some folks think girls can't fish which ,frankly, ticks me off. I mean, some girly girls don't like it, and I AM kind of girly, but doesn't mean we can't do it, right? IF you like it, of course"

"Well, we went last year. It was nice."

"Peaceful like"

A grunt and a nod.

"Until a monster fish decides to steal your bait without a by your leave. I wonder if he'll ever catch Old Buck?"

"Old Buck?"

"Yup. Big fish.. none of the locals can catch him. He's too big, too smart, and too mean. Oh but he's a beauty though"

"Seems it'd be a shame to keep him."

"Well, he'll be fine eatting that's for sure"

A scowl. "I don't like that."

"Well, we eat fish all the time, well not ALL the time, but you know what i mean. How's this different?"

"Because he's old and big and special?"

"All the more reason he should go down fighting in my opinion, an epic battle, his last, and glory to he .. OR she, who bested him."

"Well, if the honor is in the catch - why kill him?"

"Did I mention he'd be delicious?"

"Hmph."

"We may not be able to agree on this one" Sivs ays good naturedly "But if I do catch him I will try not to eat him in front of you. Fair?"

"Fair."

"Hey, you ever hear about the Salmon?"

"the fish? Of course... goes up stream to spawn in the same place it was born ,all that?"

"Oh, no, there was one who had all the knowledge of the world... I bet THAT was an old fish..."

"Well oh... yeah, and if you ate him you'd know everything?"
