A shake of her head at that "nah, but you know, there's always workshops and guilds that might be looking."

"Why don't you show her the guest room?" Tove suggests to Dagmar

"Yeah, sure... aren't there nockers in New York? Or, what's that place - where Siv's friend is from?"

At this Betty says "Lots in New York, Goblin Town. Maybe I'll go there. Though I'm more a jersey girl"

"I'm from Hackensack, orginally."

"Oh, Hey, cool." she says

"Yes, Dagmar is the native girl here" a smile from Tove as she waves them off

Dagmar leads Betty upstairs. "Ok, so you get the guest room but you can't come into my space without asking me, and nobody will go into yours without asking you, right?"

"Furk yeah.. I mean, places are private. you can't just let anyone into your workshop...what if they get the idea you were like social or some shit..drek"

"Right. So.. um.. Jaymes is pretty quiet. Odin can be talkative. Snow likes fruit..."

"Who's Odin?"

"My cat."

"Oh, cool. Snow's the monkey right? i saw her tree house."

"Yeah, she is. She talks!"

"I know, she talked to me...wanted to ask who I was what I was doing and if I had fruit. "

A short laugh. "Of course she did..."

"Never seen a white monkey before but then I don't go to the zoo much" She sighs "I used to have a chimerical buddy but..ah furk don't matter now" WHen she is lead to her guest bedroom she looks over the door with its fancy wood carving, not as fancy as other spots, but still, TOve's work

Dag frowns. "It.. maybe we could look for your friend? Sylvi has this rabbit, and Symon has Lovecraft..."

"No they killed her" She states flatly "The balor wanted to know what she tasted like so they killed her. Furking stupid for a nocker to have animals anyway. We're not good with people so what the drek, pets are for others..." She opens the guest room which is laid out in..well, soft colors and such "Kind of..ah, girly"

"Well, maybe we can put up some posters or something, make it more you?"

A pause. "If you look out the window, you can see Snow..."

She looks out "Bitchin" Betty says with approval, "And it's ok. Just...where I was, it was better to be less seen as a girl for a bit. Not that always helped"

A grunt and a nod, understanding.

She shivers, though the room is not cold.

"Doesn't matter, if they make up their minds." A pause. "I couldn't stop him, back then."

"Nobody touches you here. I'll smash them. I can. I'm very strong."

"Yeah. So, see? I'll protect you."

"If it makes you happy" Braunsbedra shrugs and puts her bag down, things inside it clank.

She flushes purple and nods. "Just... just offering. Where... before here..." She licks her lips, her mouth suddenly dry, her demeanor self-conscious. "Here's nice. You;ll be safe."

"Yeah I know I.." Betty says "Look.. uhm.. I'm not good with people? so I'm probably gonna piss everyone off at least once in awhile. So if I call you a lunkhead or sot, or a dumbass I...i understand if you get mad. I just...don't mean it as muc has it furking sounds? I mean... here you are being nice and I 'm like 'whatever' and I don't mean it like 'whatever loser', I mean it like 'whatever I trust you guys ' Least as much as I've trusted anyone for awhile"
