Nadeen sighs "Well, at least I am forewarned. NOw, how can I Help?"

"It is. And we must never shirk our duties."

"Well, keeping alert I think. Especially trod-wise ways."

"Surely" Nadeen nods

"Maybe we'd be allowed to patrol as a pair?"

"I'd like that" Nadeen seems to mean it. She's in a good mood.//Gerd frowns "I can't go?"

Nadeen says gently "Gerd, you have been here longer than any of us. You know the lodge better. We need your experience here"

"Vali said no."

A smile, surprised. "Yeah - Nadeen has it."

"I.. I'm the experienced one?" Gerd says surprised but then, Dagmar confirms and the little girl smiles "I never thought of it that before. I DO know the hold well don't I?"

"You do! Way better'n me and Nadeen, that's for sure."

The little girl is beaming "Oh, would you two like me to get you drinks? I can guard AND get drinks"

A sound burbles from under the coffee station..... ....JojoejojojojoejoJojoeJoejojo...... percolating softly before subsiding.

"Ohhh, we could get coffee..."

"Are you sure we are allowed? "

Nadeen seems serious "I mean, it's almost sacred brew"

Gerd rolls her eyes "It's yucky, but I can get it for you" She bounces to chase Jo down

"It's better with a lot of milk and sugar..."

"I'll get that too... Mere jo!" Gerd says

There's a sound of a childling chasing after coffee

Nadeen says "This lodge has more whimsy than it lets on, and it's not all Vali's fault"

Dag leans on her halberd and shrugs. "I like it here."

"I think I'd prefer something abit more Peter the Great, but then, I'm Varich" She touches the walls "But it's a good lodge. "

"I've heard that most Varich are actually in California."

"Which, like - is sunny?"

"Oh that is one of our strongholds, but not the only one . Our House lord is in San Francisco, but Alaska used to be tied to Russia and the Dreams there are drawing us. I guess anywhere where the Rus touches by blood or old claims we feel drawn to. And, of course, outside of Concordia, Eastern Europe and Russia."

"How much sugar you want?" Gerd calls out "And cream?"

"Lots?" She calls back.

"Some for me, thank you" Nadeen says

"Maybe we could go? Though I guess you can't use a trod either.."

"No, they're worried I won't be protected and I'll fall to bedlam and so forth. " A sigh "It CAN be okay it's just.. a gamble. And it's irritating"

Gerd comes up with two mugs and hands them over "Lots.." To Dagmar " and some" to Nadeen

"Exactly! Just... man, just one trip! Thanks, Gerd." She sips.

Gerd says "You have to respect the rules of the dreaming, they don't just put you in a time out. And you're welcome"

Nadeen rolls her eyes at the time out talk, but then says "Thank you" And sips

Some for Nadeen. Nadeen sips "You did well"

"Thanks. I was Mountain in my past life. I think maybe this time I'll be Hearth..." Gerd says, then says 'Everyone expects mountains to be wise" a slight frown

"Well, so are Hearths."

"Kerri sure is."

"Oh." Gerd says with a frown deepening "She is, isn't she?"

"But she and Frank are grumps. So maybe you got time?"

"She's right" Nadeen says between sips "One good thing about being young is you're not expected to be wise yet. You have time"

"I guess..." Gerd smiles "Thanks"

"Glad I don't need to be wise yet...."

Gerd's smile grows a bit larger

"Don't look at me, " Nadeen says "SIdhe are supposed to look good no matter waht they do and I still end up offending"

"Didn't offend me?"

"Well, at times perhaps. " SHe says "But it all works out." the sidhe says "The basketball team is doing well this year. Easy to cheer for winners"
