Olgar grunts "WOMEN don't like you because you don't respect their agency, you crappy little incel" Then having lectured the vampire, he looks at Sylvi "Baby are you okay? "

"I am, but they..." She points to the two girls. "He was...they were...." she's a little too grossed out to describe it.

"Okay.ok. I know how to help them. " he says "YOu take flopsy, go home. I'll handle this"

She hesitates, then shakes her head. "No, Dad. I'm okay. I want to help. And...I want to know what to do."

Olgar looks ready to argue then, "Okay.. we fugue their memories..but that won't fix their addiction.vampire blood makes you into a junkie"

"Oh." She frowns. "I think...maybe...maybe I can help with that...."

"Yeah, spring.. heree... take this dross" He hands her his pink hat from the march

She blinks at it. "You sure, Dad?"

"Who's the greater patriot? The man who saves a flag from damage, or the man who uses the flag to bandage a fellow American when he's got nothing else?"

An awkward grin. "Okay, now you're being weird...but point taken." She nods towards the girls, "Vickie got cut, too. I mean...I cut her."

"Here I can help... you think I come to your call without taking a healing magic? I can't heather balm but this should do it..." He pulls out a rag and presses it against the wound. Vickie is weeping over her lost love.

As is Lillian, "You killed him, you blue monsters killed him"

Sylvi doesn't answer Lillian. Instead, she just cuts a bit of the yarn of the knit hat, and unravels it as she sings....

Olgar touches her neck... and she looks better still. then he moves to Vickie

The hat looks faded, but not all gone

Sylvi takes the end of the yarn and hands it to the justifiably confused Vickie. "Hold this." And then she unravels the hat and winds it around her, moving clockwise and humming a little jig tune that she's heard Tove play.

And the hat bleaches out... and Vickie, more recently 'fed'... pukes. Oh fortunately not on Sylvi, the mortal turns, and heaves, and spits up all the blood she just had. Urk urk urk...

"Ugh..." Sylvi can't help but gag a bit.

"Buffy makes it look so glamourous, huh ?" Olgar says "grab her before she goes out cold in what she just upchucked"

Indeed, now empty, Vickie is passing out

Sylvi does grab her and eases her down to the ground. "They...do you think they saw me?" She indicates her troll nature.

"Sure, but you evoked the wyrd... that should throw the mists into what they remember. We'll do the rest.. hold still. Them being out means I can handle it." And her father does something she didn't know he could do... he bends their dreams.. "Okay, they're going to have some wild dreams...but that should blur memory of you or me"

"Wow...okay, yeah...but we can't leave them here..."

"You sure? because normally I just splash booze on both of them and put a bottle in one of their hands"

Is he being serious?

She blinks. "Um...."

"I...don't think so. Maybe if it were summer...."

"But even then...no, bad idea."

"oh fine.. spoil sport. There goes your chance to maybe create TWO slots on the A squad when they got caught"

"Da-ad." She gives him a look, then glances at them again. "I mean, it is kind of tempting, but...well, maybe since they won't be doing that amazing stuff anymore, people will think they lost their touch? But either way, let's just get them someplace safer. Oh, let me get my phone." She ducks back inside.

"Most terrifying moment of my life" Floppsy says as he follows

"Which part?" Sylvi fetches her screen and pockets it.

"Oh.. I'd say from 'ewww' all the way to 'aaaaaaah'"

"You were great though. The best." She gives him a hug, and then offers him to return to the safety and comfort of her backpack.

"Oh well...yes, I suppose. I mean, really, see how cats are over rated?" He bounces into the backpack. "You were amazing too"

"Thanks." She makes her way back outside, and gives her dad a big hug. "Thanks for coming to the rescue. I...maybe I could have done it? But I didn't know for sure, and I didn't want to take a chance since they were in danger...."

"Never ever apologize for having brains, rugmonster. Your goal was success, and their safety, not your glory, so mission well done. And besides... that runt was looking on the ropes anyway before I removed his head"

She notices the vampire's body is missing.

"He wasn't, but thanks...wait...where'd he go?" Alarmed.

"oh.. I got rid of the body" He assures her "Now, let's get the girls to a safe spot. Come on... "

"You...wait...how?"

At that, her father burps

And starts to help the two sleeping cheerleaders by putting them in the school library where they can wake up safe and far from the evidence

She swats him. "DAD."

And she helps.

"I can't tell you all my secrets, can I? Gotta have something to wow you with"
