Sylvi enjoys her own as well.

"And yeah, Tove would love this." A smirk, "Might cause your dad to choke a bit though, Dagmar"

"Yeah, none of this for Jaymes."

"Oh, man, Dad thinks pepper is spicy."

"I think regular cocoa might be too spicy for him."

"Maybe we could try just cinnamon?"

"HA." A grin "Might be. But let's face it, every parent is a bit tweaked. When Sally Mae first came here? She tried to jazz up the coffee, new flavors and options... guess how that went, Dagmar? Sylvi knows"

"I've had Sallie Mae's coffee! It's great! Like, super sweet..."

Sylvi rolls her eyes. "Hey, they tried to be stoic about it."

"Yeah, but this wasn't like that, this was coffee with special herbs and spices and stuff in it. It did not go over well."

"Please, sweet, or pumpkin spiced or nutmegged, mum sipped it as if she had been exiled to a joyless land but she would bear this burden... " Dramatic pause "like a troll"

"Mom eventually convinced Sally Mae to have mercy on them."

"Yeah, Aunt Kerri told her. Sally Mae was SO chagrinned"

"I don't think I get the coffee thing."

"....is it because I'm not sained? Is it, like, here's your name, here's your coffee bucket?"

"I don't totally get it, either, but...well, it's their thing, y'know? It's not about being sained or not. I'm not that big a fan of it, either."

"Speaking of, how's the countdown going, Dagmar?"

She laughs "I think it might be generational. Vali drinks it, but he's not as crazy as they. "

"I wish I'd seen it" A sigh

"Ten weeks"

"ten weeks till wh..oh!" A smile "Saining"

"April fifth. I get adopted April fifth."

"Gonna be a big tadoo"

She chews on a hangnail and nods.

"We totally need a big celebration for that."

"Hey...it's kind of like another birthday, isn't it?"

"Sure as heck should be" A nod "Sainday gifts are typical if I hear right"

"Well, yeah, but...it's not just Sainday for her, Siv. She's getting welcomed officially into her family, legal-wise. So that's another kind of birthday on top of it."

"Um.."

"Legal smeagal, she's family already"

"But ..." Siv says "yeah."

"Well, the Oath, though. THe magic one."

"My birthday is in April, too..."

"April is Dagmar month, and that's a good thing"

"Of course she's already family."

"Wow...the Greening, the Chieftain's birthday, and your birthsaindoption....busy month!"

"But not..." A little frown. "I mean, the Oath is special. It's magic."

"Especially for Trolls, Frank said."

"Dad is right. We trolls are closer to our oaths than anyone"

"oh my, what am I going to get mom" A pause "Maybe I'll ask Vali. He's full of good ideas that are WRONG, but they get me thinking"

"When is the Chief's birthday?"

"Yeah, I've used Vali ideas like that before, too."

"April 4th, same as the Greening. She usually doesn't like to fuss about it much, but the garden beds get a good turning that day."

"So the same day I became Dagmar. Hunh."

"It's a special time for all sorts of reasons" She says

"And mum iss SO getting spoiled this year" Firm nod

"Was it the very same day? Wow, I'd forgotten that."
