"We'll I'm sure some cousins are jerks but ah.." SHe points a thumb at herself "Not this King. Thank ye. Now, i might get cranky if you want to go out everytime I'm trying for a date night with my paramour"

She wrinkles her nose. "No way!"

A smile "Don't worry, at thsi rate he'll be picking me up before I get to drive" A wicked thought "Could always say 'Da, you should see Bancroft's car, it's SO roomy to lie down in. 'See, I'm thinking of calling Jessica and placing a bet on who can drive which side of his hair white first"

"Ha!"

"See? Fun."

"Well, a bit" A smile then a sigh "As it stands, Bancroft and I..argh. I can't ask him out for Sadie"

"Why not?"

"I'm sure he'd go."

"He can't. Thane duty" Scooping a bit harder with frustration "He's seeing if anyone will trade with him, but so far no go. So I either go stag or I don't go."

"Jeez. Him and Colton both? Hard luck."

"I know," She sighs "At least you have Symon so you've got a friend for company so folks won't harrass you much. I mean, I like flirting, but I Know you don't. "

"Yeah... I'm only going to keep an eye on Nadeen."

"That's good of you. I hope you have some fun anyway" Siv says "And not just feel like you're on patrol"

"I don't think Symon's gonna get too hard on me about dancing. So it should be okay."

"Does Bancroft mind if you go with someone else?"

"I didn't ask him." A frown, "I'm afraid he'll say he wouldn't mind...and ..that's messed up"

"Messed up on MY Part I mean"

"Messed up why?"

"Like, take a DeBuke. So it isn't a real date."

She laughs at that, "Are you kidding? I love the DeBukes, but their mothers are worse than boggans when it comes to trying to hook their sons up. And why wouldn't it be real?"

"And it's messed up because trying to make your boyfriend jealous is... I don't know, immature?"

"Wait - no, it wouldn't be good to try to make him jealous..."

",,,you could ask Dirk, but, like... Dirk."

"Oh...I admire Dirk helping us out but like you said.. uhm dirk. So no... mountains and mountains of no"

Sylvi comes walking up the drive, a shovel over her shoulder. "Hey," she greets the others. "I swear, old Mrs. McGillicuddy is never going to learn gratitude in a million years."

"Oh? Even after you cleared a path for her?" Siv turns at the voice pretty sure that's what happened

"I've been clearing that path every storm for YEARS...and every time, she finds some way that I did it wrong. 'Too far left' or 'not straight enough' or I've piled the snow too close to the shrubs. ARGH!"

"Maybe you could, like, build a snow fort around her house?"

"Tempting."

A chuckle at Dagmar's suggestion "Creative, but probably doomed to cause more trouble than it helps"

Sylvi sighs. "Anyway...you want help?" She nods toward the partially excavated car.

"I'm giving Moral Support!"

"Feel free, though the car isn't the priority. I can't drive it yet anyway" A sigh herself "Da and mom want it dry and warm. It's like a carrot I can never reach right now"

The vehicle, even half revealed, is not attractive. The colors are blah, the paint faded, there's a tiny dent (Though not imparing) and the model wasn't 'in' even when it was new. It does however run, or at least Siv has been lead to believe.

"Well, maybe they're just afraid you're going to drive like you sail," Sylvi says with a wicked grin before helping with the shoveling.

And she looks at it as if it were a treasure hoard.

A frown as SYlvi joins in - guilt?

"mmm or how i shovel" A scoopful of snow lands on Sylvi "oooops!"

A yelp that ends in a laugh. "Worth it!" and an answering shovelful is hurled Siv's way.

"HA..." Siv moves, scoops (Again from the car) and flings a spray in Sylvi's general way . She herself got some hit but doesn't seem to mind "You've got sass, Davidson, I'll give you that"

"Back atcha!" Sylvi takes up a large shovelful and hurls it, the arc catching not only Siv but Dagmar as well.

"Hey!"

Dagmar hops up and scoops together a double handful of snow to pack and lob at Sylvi!

"Fff" She blows some flakes out of her face and then swishes some around the air over Sylvi's head. A wind might choose all of them as a target though

FLOOP. Snowball for Siv, too!

"Hey!" A laugh

Sylvi wasn't expecting the devious side-attack from Dagmar and she splutters a bit at it.

Dropping the shovel, Siv switches to throwing snowballs, increasing her accuracy "Now pitching for the yankees! Siv King"

"Oh, it's ON!" Sylvi likewise abandons shove, and starts returning fire. Scoop, throw, scoop, throw, laughing the whole time.

"Gah!" Dagmar isn't as fast as Siv or Sylvi, so on occasion she resorts to just swatting at a drift to send it their way.
