Tove rolls her eyes "Oh lord."

Twobit isn't the only one happy to see her.

Odin has come down and sneering at the okra, is considering fishing out a shrimp with a claw

"Oh, no shrimp... no... chicken?" She offers a meaty tidbit.

Odin will take the chicken as sign of supplication

"No more..." and back out she goes.

A few mrows behind her.

When she returns, Jaymes takes his bowl back "Thanks"

"Suffer, Odin! You're welcome, Dad."

"Suffer? Oh, did you cover the pot so he couldn't get into it? " Tove says

"...cover?" Her wides eyes are all the answer Tove needs.

"oh my..." Tove races towards the kitchen, the door swinging open... "Odin don't you dare..."

She grimaces. "Sorry!"

"It's okay, we caught him in time"

Jaymes says "Let him have some of the spicey stuff. He won't be able to get off the litterbox"

"Ewwwww. Hey, I have to CLEAN that!"

Jaymes nods Sagely "You're right. No downside for me"

She sticks her tongue out at him.

A bit of a smile escapes.

Then "Love you" He says "And you can hold off on your school work till sunday if you want"

"Thank you! Can we play on the Xbox tomorrow? Team up?"

"Ah, depends on what time, I gotta shift at the store" He says

A sigh. "Yeah, okay."

"Sorry kid, with Holidays over I have to take whatever time they offer me"

She nods. "I know."

Odin dashes out of the kitchen , Tove calling after "You one eyed menace! "

"He's just hungry!" She holds out her arms to scoop up the siamese.

Odin goes right into Dagmar's protective arms. Soft helpless kitty!

"And the Oscar goes to..." Jaymes sips

Ear scritches and soothing-kitty-noises.

"oh for goodness sake, he gets fed plenty" Tove says rolling her eyes.

"I know. He's so fat." Delight and affection.

Tove hurumphs "Cat gets fat and folks coo. I get ffat and some fellow will lost interest." A look to Jaymes to see if he's going to make a comment.

"good gumbo" Jaymes observes as he has his second bowl.

"I'd like you if you were fat."

"Yes well, if I get that way it won't be from clawing someone else's shrimp" Tove says and, oddly at that moment, plucks one of the Shrimps from Jaymes bowl.

"I mean, reallY tastey" Jaymes ssays , having the oddest sense that somewhere up there the goddess of asgard were watching and judging right now. Possibly laughing ...cruelly.

"Probably get it from ice cream. But, you know - what a way to go, innit?"

"mmm yes"

BIC: The last from Tove, and it appears Jaymes is off the hook, "just don't you be thinking you'll always get off scott free running to Dagmar, mr. odin" A fuss

"Don't you worry, I'll protect you." She stage-whispers to the cat.

"oh goodness...just take him up to bed with you, shower up, then spoil him rotten. " Tove says "he has missed you."

Jaymes smiles "A good suggestion . See you tomorrow for that game, Dagmar."

Indeed, Odin is already purring in Dagmar's arms

She grins at the mention of the game. "Kay. Night guys."

And she heads up, Odin in tow.

Tove watches her go, then "Now, are you okay?"
