"Nevertheless," Tove says "You told her you would accept the name Nadeen and stop calling her 'Not Tanya'. YOu didn't say you'd only extend that courtesy to her face"

She sighs "But let's not sour your triumphant return with a disagreement" She smiles "You beat the Jersey Devil? AND freed whoever? Did you meet the girl who sent the note?"

"We did! SHe's a Wisp, she said. SHe's pretty."

"a what?" Startled, "Sorry, is that slang?"

"She's a rare kith. A wisp."

"Like - all glowy and floaty..." she spreads out her hands, indicating delicacy.

"I've never heard such a thing"

"Me neither, but, well - aren't there all kinds?"

"Frank said there's special ones in Hawaii and Japan and all over..."

"That's true... and you found one" A grin "Oh you've given something back to the Dreaming in a way. I'm very proud of you"

"Yeah - Erik was crazy. Like, thought he was protecting her...OH! Oh! I used magic!"

"We were fighting, and Flyswatter was stuck, right? So I shoved him real hard, but, like, I didn't just shove him..."

"I was pretty mad, cause he was doing something to Siv..."

She shakes her head. "It wasn't thunder, I'm working on that. It was.. like..." She frowns. "You know the x-men?"

"Yes" She says

"Thanks to the lot of you younger wilders actually, but yes"

"Okay, so, like Iceman. Or..." SIGH "Elsa, I guess..."

"But, like, boom, this big flash of cold."

"I like Elsa" Tove says with a grin "Though I'm probably like an Anya. Mm winter or Kyros, like Vali does eh? Maybe you're more like Skaldi than Thor, though neither is a god you want to offend, and you can still learning lightning eventually"

"What does Skaldi do? I forget...."

"And I guess as princesses go, Elsa's okay..."

"She is a superhero, sort of..."

"You should consider talking to Vali for lessons. Maybe he'll teach you some magic AND French"

"Frrrrronch." Oh, that accent is terrible.

"I guess I could ask him. I don't think I know if I could do it again on purpose, you know?"

"Well, if nothing else you might learn what to expect if it progresses" She advises "Oh my, you must be starving"

She perks. "Is there food?"

Jaymes is appraching, Twobit launches at him

It's like mentioning 'treats' to a lab puppy, big eyes, and alllllll of the teen's attention.

"Of course ther'es food" She grins, the her eyes light up to see Jaymes "Though it was in danger of getting cold with you taking so long to get home, Jaymes"

Jaymes grunts, but looks a bit amused

"Hey Jaymes! TwoBit missed you... Tove, want me to help?"

"I noticed" he says as the dog gets scooped up

"Oh you're kind to offer. I can handle it, though I might need someone to sample..." Tove admits

"I volunteer as tribute!"

"brave soul" Tove says. "Got to warn you, it maybe spicy"

"Oh nooooo, whatever will I dooooo"

A grin "It's a reciepe from willows. Vali likes it, but Gerd adores it, so I thought I'd see if you liked it too. Kerri helped me with it. Maybe you had it? you have have gumbo? I admit I may have gone heavy on the shrimp"

"I've never had gumbo. I've had shrimp before, though. It's good."

"Oh there's peppers and onions and..." It turns out there are two bowls being made. One for the two of them, larger, which has more spices, one for Jaymes which is 'mild' but still not bland. Dagmar's expert opinion on weather more spice and what sort is sorely needed for the big bowl as she does sample.

"What's the green stuff?" Oh, new-food-face, nose wrinkled.

She pokes a piece of okra with the spoon, dunking it under the surface of the broth.
