"You got a soda, what are whining about?" The wilder rover smirks

"Okay, then you keep it. DOn't matter none. Or I can take it back. I just wanted to see if it had fallen out"

"Well, guess it's yours by right."

"Sure, just leave it in there then. But if you want it, it's yours. Kind of a 'sorry you couldn't be there' consoluation prize. hell of a fight"

She wavers, holding on to it.

"Keep it, " Olgar says "He's trying to be nice, no shame in letting him stretch that muscle"

"It's really nice. Thank you."

"De Nada" He says

Olgar says "Now..here's what you did wrong." He tells Hastein

It would seem that somethings should have tipped the rookie off. Things like the waver of the silver, the shift in tone ....even the feel of it...

Dag listens intently - that little furrow between her eyebrows that indicates concentration.

"And you know what else should have clued you in? the noise."

"It echoes wrong..."

"Right right... you enjoying me being a captive audience?" the rookie grumbles

"Of course he does. He has trouble getting Sylvi to sit still."

"True, and yes, enjoying, but you should listen. I got skillz and lore you need to know," Olgar says, using the 'zz on skills in a way that middle aged guys should not

"Smart ass." Olgar rises...and Dagmar sees...

maybe she's imagining it, but she thought she saw him move a bit stiffly when he stood up. Could just be sore...but the way he holds his back so straight.

"You get hurt in the fight, too?"

"Scratch" He grunts

Snorts. "Sure."

"So full of shit" Hastein says "You got a spear in the back..saw it"

"It was a little spear, teeny tiny" Olgar waves it off

"So, like, a regular sized spear?"

Olgar sighs "I'll be fine. Just need to sleep on my stomach for a while"

"Maybe you should chill out at the fire too? I bet Hearth Kerri would say so."

"And I mean, if you're sitting by the fire, there's no reason for me to tell her..."

"Since, like, you're already by the fire..."

Hastein snickers

Olgar turns and shoots her a Look.

"Right?"

"I'll think about it. ROokie needs the fire more than I do"

"Like you can't both be here?"

"It's better if most of the healing it goes to him" Olgar says... then takes a seat, not putting his back to anything "I'll be okay"

"Now, we'll pass the time by watching one of the greatest troll actors to ever grace the screen. Chuck Norris"

"Like she said" He nods "Time for a few episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger" He puts it in, yes, moving stiffly but hey
