Symon realizes he is now alone with his step mother. Who has his phone. He feels oddly vulnerable without his phone.

He doesn’t meet her gaze, and turns to slink off to the basement. Perhaps being a sluagh prevents the stomping of feet or slamming of doors, but resentment is obvious in his posture.
