She checks with the others and starts up another cheer.

"Yeah, Yeah,
Do We Rock?
Yeah, Yeah,
Take it to the Top?
Yeah, Yeah
Are we gonna stop?
No way!" The cheerleaders chant

Sam is having a great time, even if all she does is block the other team.

The home team gets a lead, and the coach lets some of the first stringers take a break... Gonzlalez almost runs folks over to get her shot. May looks startled "me? Oh but uhm.."

"C'mon MAY!"

Bolstered by her team mate , May joins the game

With the second stringers in there for the last quarter, it looks like the visitors might rally and tie this up!

Not if Sam can help it! Just try to get a shot!

"Go, MAY! We know you CAN!"

Sylvi looks at the others. "Too corny?"

"I think she needs corny" One says "Bu we could do the hotter than the sun thing?"

Assuming Sylvi agrees, the chant goes like...

"Stronger than steel,
Hotter than the sun;
May won't stop,
'til she gets the job done!"

then the next player is named in the next round and so on!

Sylvi agrees eagerly...this is one that, even if the crowd doesn't know they names of the players, it's easy for them to pick up the words and join in quickly.

Gonzalez, May and Sam have been practicing together SO much that it's almost like a team within a team... so the enegetic pint sized latina gets the ball to her taller friends like a fireman drill. Dagmar passes it over their heads to May who they ignored, and May FIRES for another two points! Suddenly the gain is stopped, and the HOme team 's lead is holding!

The cheers have t he crowd in volved and in a great mood. Foam fingers and hats are selling like no tomorrow..which is weird, as most of the merchandise was saved for the boys games

"Good shot, May!"

"they let me get too close" she grins.

Indeed, the visitors coach is not happy "You're not taking the other team seriously they're going to burn you every time! "

Coach Gray grins "Beauitful team work girls... mix it up, dont' let them know your pattern"

Sylvi sees Colton stare at her with enthhusiasm, and yes, a bit of hunger as she sways.

Sylvi gives him a smile that's just for him, but doesn't let him distract her too much. "Triple Threat! Our best bet!" for the Gonzalez, May, and Sam trio.

That gets picked up fast by the cheerleaders "Triple Threat, our best bet!"

Olgar mutters to Kerri "See how good I'm being? The boys in that row there are alive and everything" Alas, she has no cookie to give him

Kerri pats him on the cheek. "Very good. Plus, selling those foam things like hotcakes."

"Our kid hit me up for 7%" he says

"I bet she'll be kicking herself for not holding out for 12."

Triple Threat is working hard!

"She SO is..." Olgar grins "Told her she should have tried for 10 " But despite his teasing he mutters "You see how they're following her lead?"

One girl on the opposing team, gets too eager,a nd trips up May, legs casuing both to fall

GLARE!

May's eyes flare angrily then a deep breath "you okay?" to the other girl

Sylvi spots the foul, yells "BOOOO!!!" and gives and enthusiastic thumbs down.

Foul shot.

The good old stomp-stomp-clap, stomp-stomp-clap while getting ready for the foul shot.

A hand up for her teammate. "You got this, just like at the Barn."

The other cheeerl eading team "Oh too bad! you know it! you know yo're gonna blow it!! You got no aim you got no game, you're gonna walk away in shame!"

Nadeen looks offended "Sylvi, they just threw a gauntlet down into our FACE"

May swallows as she gets a hand up "It's like they're jinxing me"

Sylvi gets a wicked grin, and starts them up..."Number one number two" she cues the team before calling out:

We're number one!
Can't be number two!
We're gonna beat
The number two outta you!

Well, Sylvi's cheer is a counter jinx! And May... get her two shots!

But May misses...

Sam claps. "It's okay, May! You got another!"

and then on the second try...not only does she miss, it bounces and hits her in the head...causing laughter from many

May turns blood red and starts to leave the court...

"Shit" Gonzlazes says

"May, so what? Shake it off, c'mon..."

"You got two points earlier."
