"OH! I can help, sure..." A pause. "Maybe."

"He likes guy stuff. And old music."

"Music is all I ever get him, what's guy stuff exactly you think and... you want to get your coat and go with guy stores with me?"

She nods. "Can do. Maybe fishing stuff? He likes fishing."

"Fishing.. I never would have thought.. yes, let's head to that Bass pro whatever... Oh my yes" She gives a grateful half hug and starts to get her own coat on

"He took me once this summer. It was okay. I liked being outside and hanging out."

"I wonder he's going to expect me to clean them? Ugh Fish can be a hassle to clean"

"They are?"

"The scales, you have to scrape. It's ,well, not pleasant." A thought "Symon might like it though. NO offennse, but Sluagh often seem interested in things others find gross. And he's a very helpful lad. He helped Chieftain Brekke with a tree the other night. Heard Vali talking about it"

"Well, I'm sure he'd clean the scales if he wanted fish..."

"I mean, he didn't mind gutting them..."

"Fair point then." the two get into her car

The car in question is battered, but the important thing? It has leg room.

Dagmar appreciates, stretching out. "I hope he likes his present from me."

"He'll like it just becausei t's from you" she assures

"I hope so. I'm doing real good in that class. Making As!"

"So the few things i've taught you help a bit? I know wood working isnn't ALL there is to shop and that they use some different tools, but if it helps I'm glad"

"This semester is all wood, metal is the spring..."

"Right up my alley then" She is pleased. She's become a better driver, but still takes the road fast

"What... what would you want for Christmas?"

"me?" She seems surprised, "I think I'd like..."

Dag listens, attentive...

That's when the driver shooting past them nearly sideswipes them, forcing Tove to weave and put a third of the car off the road!

"SHIT!:

Tove is cursing a bit herself okay, it's in Swedish or something but you can tell by the tone. She waves her first at the driver...

"You okay?" she manages

"Yuh-huh. That guy was a...." Dag provides a description that would do a nocker proud.

"You know today of all days I can't disa.." There's the sound of shattering glass in the distance and crumpled steel "Shit again"

"Was that the first car?" She strains to see.

"We should help."

"Right right..." They soon catch up. The car that nearly ran them off the road is folded around a light post

"I'm calling 911..." The two park

"Oh, shit..."

Once parked, Dagmar unbuckles and stomps over to the car.

The man appears trapped in there, a soft groan... is that gasoline? And..ozone?

"TOVE, I smell gas!"

She grabs the door handle and yanks.

"Okay, you need to get away... "

"One... sec..." grunt.

She plants her feet and YANKS.

It tries to catch, and instead Dagmar decides if it won't go quietly, it'll just have to be BROKEN! RIP goes metal....the door falls to the side. the man looks bad.

Worse is the spark and fire mixing with the gas and booze... and starting to flare

"Hey, hey... c'mon..." She leans in to unbuckle him, surprised as her hands shake.

"uhm wha.. I can't ..." he mutters and starts to flump only half out.

"Dagmar, it's dangerous.. move quickly"

"One SEC..." she grumbles swear words, and tries to gently pull him out...

"hold onto him" she yells and sings "Baby come back, you can blame it all on me!" And Dagmar feels herself yanked abruptly towards Tove.... with the mortal still in her grip

She curls around the mortal in a kind of protective ball.

The car does not explode, but it does catch fire in the front half, where the mortal was
