Another frown and she rubs at the base of one horn.

Sylvi blinks. "Who's that? He's parking in the teachers' lot...."

"Sylvi, you hear... huh? I dunno who that is."

"Huh..." Sylvi's gaze lingers.

The man vanishes from window view, but only for a moment, then comes back in the halls and starts heading to Mrs. Havensack's room. He's got a tattoo of fire trailing up his left arm in an inttricate design. He also has a wedding ring.

Mrs. Havensack comes out and smiles, her eyes lighting up. "That's service. Thanks for taking the time."

Sylvi's jaw drops.

She tilts her head. "Mr. Havensack?"

The man grins, and kind of twirls Mrs. Havensack, gives her a kiss that's JUST Short of too much for a hhigh school hallway, and hands her a cellphone "Station is going slow so the Chief was okay with it. But I got the 'let's not make a habit of it' speech. I think he suspects I want to ravish you between classes."

He did not just say that. Now Sylvi's blushing a bit.

She drops to a whisper. "Sylvi, did you hear somebody else talking?"

"Huh?" Still very distracted.

"Oh I want more time than betwee.." She blushes and swats him in the arm "We cannot talk like tis in the hallway. You go, I'll see you later tonight"

He laughs, then turns, "someone call my name? Thought I heard mr. Havensack?"

Again, in Dagmar's head

"She's my teacher..." annoyed.

"Probably," Mrs. Havensack says "Hello, girls. this is my husband. He was just heading back to the firestation" //Mr. Havensack smiles at the girls "hey, great to meet you. Just returning a cellphone."

"...Uh.. hi."

Sylvi smiles. "Hi. I...um...you're a firefighter? That's cool." Lame, Sylvi.

"Actually it's a bit on the warm side," He smiles, "But thanks."// "Oh, that's Sylvi, that's Sam, and that's May" Mrs. Havensack says "Good kids." /"Yeah, they seem pretty cool themselves." Mr. Havensack looks to his wife, "Later, beatiful, thanks again for the halloween surprise." //His wife blushes "Shoo."//And out he goes. Mrs. Havensack might be blushing, but she also checks her husband's ass out with a happy sigh

"...wow."

"Yeah, that's mine, the tall one with the hair" Mrs. Havensack says happily, "See how an education will help you with future life choices?"

Her eyes flare wide, and she looks around.

Sylvi watches him go, then says, "Since when do teachers get the hot guys???" Perhaps just a little too loud, and forgetting that the teacher in question is still Right There.

"Oh I didn't get him because I'm a teacher, he came with my college diploma." A joke perhaps, then "Sam, are you okay? You seem distracted"

"I'm okay...." Crease between eyebrows.

Once eye-candy guy is out of sight, Sylvi refocuses on Dagmar. "Uh...Sam, help me with something, okay? Before class? 'Scuse us Mrs. Havensack. May, you okay if we go?"

"Well, next period is about to start" Mrs. Havensack says "but of course. Later, Ladies, do't forget the test next friday" And she walks back to her class room

May sighs "I wonder if he he has like a younger cousin?"

Siiiigh. "Everybody and boys, I swear."

Sylvi tugs on Sam's sleeve to pull her aside. "You okay? You got weird-face."

"Did you hear anything? Like... a you know? C thing?"

"C thing?" Then whispered, "...chimera?"

"Yeah."

May iss out of ear shot, but tries not to look hurt that she's being left out of whatever it is

Sylvi shakes her head. "I didn't hear anything. Hang on..." She slips her backpack off and sets it on the busy hallway floor, unzipping it a bit more to allow two floppy ears to poke out. On the pretense of searching for something, she murmurs, "Flopsy, have your amazing ears heard anything whispering to Dagmar?"

Floppsy says "No, but she does seem particularly bright today, glamour wise. I edon't think it's bedlam though. I have a nose for that" his nose wriggles "odd"

"Bright? Like...like dream-dance bright?"

'No one goes through two dream dances" Flopsy says

"...Sylvi?"

((Sorry, I misread, thought he said it seemed particularly bright, not she.)) "Well, yeah. Okay."

Sylvi shrugs at Dagmar. "Maybe...write down what you hear, and we can puzzle it out later?"

"Oh... sure, I guess."

The bell rings nd they go onto different classes

"I'll catch up with you after!" Sylvi waves as she jogs to get to her class.

And off Dagmar goes, wearing a faint frown as she puzzles over the voice.

Sometimes Dagmar swears she hers that voice..insistent, Too fat Oh she's near sighted, not sure I can help that
