"Bancroft" She says to her da, then to her mother "but he IS a lump, mother. Doesn't flirt properly with me or make a fool of himself to entertain me. He's just there when I need him. I mean, a lump right?" a smile though as if not that exapserated

"Siv...he is a sidhe. He...." She trails off, frowning. "Do not call him Lump."

"Lump is good."

She finishes off her cold coffee and sets the mug aside.

A glance at Frank, and a sigh.

Noting it upsets her mother, she says "I'l ltry to cut down on the term"

"It is...unwise." Then a deep breath. "But I am glad you have thought of a good way to spend Samhain."

Their daughter rises "Well, I'll spend the first part honoring the past here. That's dad's favorite part I think and should be done"

"Good. It is important. Now..." She rises and gives Siv a brief hug. "I must set things away." She goes to fetch her gear that Frank brought in, and goes to take it upstairs.

A hug back to her mom, then she watches her go, then looks at her dad, "How's the eye? nevermind, I should probably do the things"

"Eye's fine." He hugs her back. "Be back for dinner. Thanks for staying for the start of Samhain."

"Love you."

She is gone into the bedroom...and they can hear the sound of certain young dogs being shooed off the bed.

Frank glances up the stairs. "Hmphm. Going to help Brekke."

"Yeah, go save the dogs" A grin and off Siv goes
