"Together, that we'd try to get in together... not get in and leave. And I came to see if you got your outfit and if it fit. I mean, I may want to do some unboggan things but if you needed help with a hemline I could swing it. Course, so can your mom." A tilt

"I..." She sighs. "It's in my backpack. I haven't tried it on at all, was going to return it on Monday. But I guess I can see how it fits. Come on up?" She leads Lucita up to her room.

"See how it fits? To answer your earlier question I'm on my way to practice for B squad. I thought you and I could go together. My battery died in my cell"

"Oh, my charger's over there, you can plug in, just put mine on the dresser." She starts digging through her backpack and pulls out the little package of cheerleader clothes. She lays each piece out on the bed, looking at them. "It's all about the Spanx, huh?"

"No spanx, no cheer yeah."

"Okay..." She starts changing into the gear. "I didn't realize there was practice today."

"Didn't you leave your email so they could send you up dates?" She says

A sigh. "Lucita, I told you, I figured I'd be dropping it. I...might have written my email down wrong." The skirt...the top...the Spanx...the socks....mirror check.... "Hmmm."

"you look great, you always do. Looks aren't the important thing, YOU told me that, and you were right or I wouldn't have made it to b squad! You know how few bogans get to be cheerleaders? I mean, satyrs and sidhe sure, but wow. Here we are, troll and boggan proving we cn do it, or at least we get a chance too. And you shouldn't drop it. I need you."

"Well...I meant what I said, I knew you could do it." Another turn and pose in the mirror. "But aren't you kind of pissed off you didn't get A squad?"

"We're Freshmen, and one try out is hardly time to show them what we can do compared to the girls who had a whole season or more. Besides, B Squad gets to cheer the girl teams. So we'll see your cousins play! And they can feel ike they're not being short changed morale support! I mean, don't you think women's sports are just as important as guys? We're proof that they are"

"I don't think that sending the B team says they're just as important...." But she's wavering.

"Well, maybe, maybe not, but the boys loss is the girl team's gain beecause I'm going to give it my best. And I know you will too." She looks her over "let's go, you look great."

"But...." A sigh...it's hard to argue with boggan enthusiasm. "Fine. I'll go this time, but if it sucks, I'm quitting." But the word doesn't taste very good.

"Quit? Please, remember i almost quit on learning sword play? You pointed out i could study here. And your dad's been great. I know now how to fillet a guy who gets grabby on a date thanks to him showing me some knife work isn't that different from kitchen or combat." A blush "though if I want a boy my age grabby maybe some cheerleader moves will help"

"Dad is great with knifework...taught me so much...." A fond grin, and then the notion of how that flirty skirt and the right moves might inspire a certain troll wilder with a glass arm.... "Okay, okay...let's see what we can do."

And they head down the steps and... her Dad raises a brow "Going somewhere?"

"Practice, Mr. Davidson" Lucita says

"Lucita made B squad. So..." A slightly embarrassed shrug and she gestures at the outfit.

"Oh." Her dad nods "Good then. No quitters here I see. need a ride?"

"I didn't say...." she starts, then sighs. "I don't know. We could walk it. Lucita, what do you think?"

"We're running behind, so we'd appreciate it"//Olgar grabs his keys and , to her dad's credit, makes little converation none that could be mistaken for speechifying. Still, nice to get out of the car when she can and she rushes in with B squad waiting. She may surprise herself by enjoying it
