Jaymes looks at Dagmar, and asks softly "We can relax now I think"

The dogs all sniff and say hello to each other. Those that aren't on patrol. Brown Dog bounces against the floor near Dagmar on the steps trying to be oh so good and not jump on her

Sylvi asks, "Can I do anything, Dad?"

Frank stands watching the door for a moment, then goes in to Kerri and Sally Mae. "Can I help?"

She hugs Brown Dog and gives him a good ear rumple.

"you know?" Olgar says after looking at his daughter "Im starting to think you can: do anything I mean. My little girl isn't so little anymore. I didn't mean to scare you or your mom" He whispers "You should have seen your mother she was fierce and... huh, well, there's more to it if I remember right." Then more clearly "As for what you can do... mm pillow maybe? I am still a bit tender" Perhaps just giving her that chance to do something

Paw bangs away on the ground at the ear scratch

Kerri returns with the beer, but just stands there with it and listens as Olgar speaks to Sylvi.

"I think we're fine mostly, Mountain. " Sally Mae says "Thank you. And thank you, Hearth. He's.. well, I feel bad denying a cap food but ...mm"

((Sorry, cross over, I think Kerri left the kitchen while Frank was getting there))

((Well, he asks Sally Mae then))

Frank nods. "Ok. I'm going to organize patrols. Just in case."

Sylvi nods and gets up to get another pillow from the linen closet. Kerri smiles a bit and brings Olgar the beer. "Need a straw?" she teases gently.

"Wife beer, my favorite" Olgar winks "And no, I'm good without straw." he looks to the direction their daughter went, "I scared her. Maybe I need to definitely think about keeping it close to the lodge patrols, the shorter patrols. I was doing that anyway but... wont' be long before she's off on adventures and I should... well, I don't know. BE here."

Jaymes pets Brown Dog too "He definitely needs a regular name"

"Maybe..." Kerri takes a seat on the floor next to the cot. "But right now, just rest. We'll talk about it when you're fully healed."

"Hey, hey, no need to be on the floor, lift my legs or something I can share..." He kisses his wife's head, the back of it "Unless you like me being able to blow in your ear?"

"Jaymes." Frank calls quietly, moving to where his brother is.

Jaymes looks over "Yeah Frank? Need me?"

Kerri smiles. "You know I do. Lie still." Then Sylvi's back with the pillow, and there's rearranging and fussing.

Frank nods. "We need patrols, and we have the kids to do it with. Youngest stay back here of course but.... Sylvi, Dagmar, you and I.... who else?"

Olgar lies still as he's directed by the fussing.

"I can patrol. Flyswatter's here."

Kerri assures him, "I'll let you up tomorrow if you heal up here tonight." And she keeps half an ear on the other conversation.

Jaymes frowns, then looks at Dagmar "You willing to follow the lead of more experienced warriors when you patrol?"

Sylvi looks up, alert and serious.

Kerri adds, "I can patrol, Frank."

Olgar grunts "Kerri, babe. You were a genuine bad ass in the dreaming, and you're no slouch here, but the hearth needs you."

"The hearth needs you." Frank repeats.

Sally Mae peeks out of the kitchen "I can handle things on this end, Mister Olgar if either of the ladies in your life need to stretch"

Olgar shoots Frank a grateful look, then Sally mae a sour one

A momentary frustration...but she nods agreement.

If there's one thing Kerri can do, it's read the room. She notes her husband's expression, and shakes her head. "I'll stay."

A shrug at Jaymes. "Sure?"

Jaymes nods "Okay, then, if Frank wants you on Patrol, we help him. "

Olgar says "Thanks, Babe. I wouldn't want to risk both of you...because if Sylvi wants to go on patrol with others.. I think we should let her"

Kerri looks over at Sylvi, a serious, measuring look....then a nod. "I agree."

Sylvi flickers a grin for a moment, but it's gone again. She gets to her feet and says, "I'm ready."

Vali's eyebrows nearly shot into his horns

Then the Beaumayn says "Okay. Hearth? Permission to boss your daughter around on patrols?" The knight asks

He's not joking per se. just offering his experience

Kerri looks to Vali. "Absolutely." Then back to Sylvi. "You follow orders. You don't do anything reckless. You err on the side of caution. Understand."

Sylvi nods once. "Yes'm."

Vali nods giving both Olgar and Kerri a look and mouthing the words 'with my life'

There is a knock on the door

Kerri gives him a grateful grin and nod, but then looks sharply at the door.

The dogs do not seem alarmed. they know the scent

A slight frown at the dogs, then she goes to the door. A glance to Vali, and she opens the door.

Thane Bancroft bows "Hail Rivervale, Teaneck sends its' aid. " The sidhe thane has a backpack "I apologize, but the Baron insisted as soon as he found out. I bring dross, some medical supplies and some food. " A Pause "And a small keg of beer from a local"
