“Oh, man. It looks like a...” he suddenly swallows what he was going to say, with a guilty glance towards Jaymes. “Uh, a brain. All wrinkly like.”

"I thought it looked like a puckered anus" Dirk says "And Mutts live longer...that's what I heard anyway"

"Here's your snacks" One bowl, purple for some reason, has the rotted and old snacks

He tries to hide his smirk, as he simply replies, “general vicinity, yeah...”

The other is larger and has fresher fare

He leans forward, curiously extending a finger towards the dog to poke at her lightly. He does... not seem as though he understands how dogs work.

Shaggy wakes more fully and eyes the boy, sniffs, nd then gives him that terrier look of "We got a problem here?' which is very fitting, as this is Jersey

"I guess. Maybe a blind person" Dirk observes, and pets the world's ugliest cat

He rubs a finger across her head, then drops his hand, seemingly losing interest. “I thought if you were moving animals into the barn you’d start with a small herd of sheep.”

“Nah, no one wants the scro- er. Scruffy looking cat. Probably send her to the pound.”

Shaggy snorts . Sheep? She's not a herder

He turns and gives Dagmar a sidelong wink.

“Yeah, probably straight to the Ol Kitty Pen in the back room. I’d say, put it outside for a sporting chance as a stray, but she’s got no coat. Hah. Maybe if she had a leather jacket.”

"You could put her in all kinds of funny outfits, I bet. She looks like deadpool, a bit."

Flicking on his phone for a moment, he smirks and shows the other two a picture of a sphinx wearing a studded leather coat.

“Knew it.”

"yeah? " Dirk blinks. He didn't get it.

He looks oveer, then admits "kay, that iddn't suck."

"Sme-gal's alight."

“Yeah, she doesn’t scrotally suck.” Slipping that in with a snigger.

"Yeah... Shaggy thing is tiny."

Dirk gets it that time and brays a laugh

“Did Lucia want that one? She’s kinda small too. Or you keeping it for a pocket size pet?”

He shrugs at her lack of response, and moves to prod at whatever might be in the purple bowl of mystery treats.
