The old Dog wags again and lays his head on her lap. Life is good with people to warm you.

"I bet Torin and he'd get along, yeah." Resigned.

"Unless someone else calls dibs" He says "Uhm... I was wondering..."

"Yeah?" Pet.

before he can finish, the door opens, and Tove enters with Brown Dog on a Leash "Walked, energetic young fellow . Want me to take the old fellow out?" she smiles fondly.

Brown Dog wags, bright eyed and curious. Wow, the world is weird and big and there were SO many trees out there. Who put all those trees out there? Did the peoples do that? '

"Hey Tove."

Dagmar pats her lap, inviting Brown Dog over. "Sss, ss, c'mon.."

Brown dog bounds ...where as the older dog takes things as they come, Brown Dog is just...well, wants to smell, snuggle and... neat! Girl smells nice. He leaps on the furniture she's on to join her if room is there. He's still only a year old. Is this okay> HEY CUSHY

She rumples Brown Dog's ears, the ones that don't know if they want to stand up or hang down.

Indeed!

The ears swivel as if trying to take in ALL the noises, and he licks her face.

Tove says "Oh he needs training." She moves to Old Race Dog "here boy, come on, brief walk we won't go far."

Another laugh. "He's a good boy."

"I think Racer might want to run, just for a little bit."

Jaymes says "Well, he's a good boy AND needs training' At Brown Dog

"Okay, I don't want to let him off and lose him, but I think I can catch up with him" Tove says

"Well, maybe he won't run for long..."

"Okay, I'll give him a rip" Tove says patting the old dog gently

Jaymes says "You shouldn't have to..."//"Please, I like it fine"she assures. "I like all the animals. "

"I'm glad they can stay here for now."

tove grins "Agreed. You two are nice to house them like this. "

"Yeah..." that look again.

Jaymes looks at her, "You want to call dibs on one?"

the her being Dagmar

"Could we keep one?" she asks, pleading but hesitant.

Jaymes nods "Yeah, that was what I was thinking actually, but I didn't want to tell you which one. I wanted you to pick..." An embarrassed look "Because you know, I want you to be happy."

"I don't know which..." She frowns.

"May I make a suggestion?" Tove asks.

"Yeah?" Ear rumple, and then she allows Brown Dog to gnaw on one of the toys Connor found.

"Take turns with each pet, see which one you click with. We're going to make sure they all gt good homes, I know, but maybe one will feel more like your pet than the others?"

Brown Dog chew chew chews with gusto!

"Maybe..."

"I bet everybody is gonna want one."

Jaymes ponders "Want me to hold things off until you can pick?"

"No, that's not fair. I just... I dunno."

"Okay" Jaymes ssays "Just.. uhmm.. not the Guiennea Pig, okay? Those things smell funny."

Tove chuckles at this "Poor Patches"

"I don't think they're real pets..."

"But, well, do you have one you like best?"

Jaymes ponders "Too soon for me to tell . When you pick one, we'll go with that."

tove tisks "Poor misunderstood rodent. Come out old fellow, I'll give you a quick run." She takes the Greyhound out

Once she's gone. "And one Tove likes, too..."

He flashes a smile at her, a brief one, but sincere, "She doesn't really like the Guinnea Pig that much. "

"Well, Eden seemed pretty fascinated after study group..."

"I don't think she wanted to eat her, no matter what she said."

A cough "Wow. Yeah. Well, ok. I can see why that would raise eyeyebrows." mmm "What about Sme-Gal?"

"She's friendly! Ugly, but friendly."

"Yeah, she'snot going to get prettier as she grows." He ponders "Mackerel?"

"She's independent. But she did deign to give me a sniff."
