She prickles, scowling. "What did you see?"

"This is why some Soothsayers charge, to discourage folks demanding info. Still, you trusted me me. " A deep breath, "Dagmar, I saw the summer sun rising over a fading Winter break. this means that, at least for now, you are of the Seelie Court. though you may find it odd." A look to Sylvi "Sylvi, for you I saw you sorting through a suggestion box, looking over them and throwing some away, storing others for later, and with a look of determination at others that you kept in your hand."

A puzzled look, disarmed. "Seelie?"

Sylvi considers this about herself...and grins. "Busted," she admits. "But I guess still having some in my hand is a good thing."

A broader smile to Dagmar. "Welcome to the sunny side of the street."

"You're still unsained, so you may not know for sure... also, it's not a coin toss, it's a scale. You might be Seelie, but only barely... and this can change again. Probably will closer to Samhain, but then everyone feels a pull. Don't read too much into this or that. Olgar the Rover is Unseelie, at least he leans that way, and he's one of the bravest men I know. " A glance to Sylvi "No need to tell him I said that. I'll never hear the end."

"And yes, you were busted"

Sylvi beams with the praise of her father. "What's it worth to you for me not to tell him?"

"Right..." she nods - still uncertain, but less upset.

"I don't tattle about how you were eavesdropping on the kitchen whenI went back there to talk to your mother? Fair trade?" Vali smiles at Sylvi

The smile goes immediately to a pout, then a sigh. "Fine."

She looks to Dagmar. "You good?"

"Yeah. I'm okay."

"Okay." A moment, and then Sylvi picks up a muffin and bites into it, normality restored.

"Good. I don't want either of you ladies to feel distrusful of me. You are of my lodge and family to my family... and I would die to protect anyone of you... now , pardon, I really have to track down the Mountain and Storm."

"So...a fire, a seed, and a snake, huh?"

"Well, Jessica maybe?"

"Maybe...but how?"

"I mean, that's what makes the most sense. She's got fire in her name and isn't Mexico, like, a Feathered SNake?"

"Oh! Oh, wow...Dagmar, that's good."

"Like the Aztec guy, with Cortez?"

Sylvi looks to see what Vali thinks.

"Perhaps, but I don't think so... other visions about Jessica have occurred."

She considers carefully, and takes a muffin. Chocolate chips!

She shrugs. "I dunno. Just a thought."

"Oh..." slightly deflated, and consoled with another bite of muffin.

"It's a good one..." He says and starts to head to the door, "Oh... Sylvi? Speaking of the future, don't worry too much. It turns out you cannot actually Die of embarrassment. As you'll find out."

"I know the Chieftain's running a Y class, and she usually does a patrol after that..."

Sylvi pauses halfway to another bite, her eyes going wide.

A faint snerk.

And gone...

She doesn't take that bite, instead looks at Dagmar. "He was just joking, right?"

"I think so. Right?"

"Must've been. Yeah...."
