Vali wakes up in a cold sweat. "crap." Something bad is happening

Vali dresses, grabbing arms and putting on his chain shirt on top of it

Then heads down into the main lodge

There's a scrabbling sound, a tussle in progress, at the bottom of the stairs...but it soon resolves into Sylvi rough-housing with the dogs.

"Hey, Sylvi. You..ah bring anything cursed back from Alaska? Asking for a friend"

She stops in mid-romp and calms the dogs down a bit. "Oh, g'morning, Vali. Wow...um, you okay? You look kind of ragged, no offense."

"Yeah, I .. I need to know whose going out today"

The door opens, Dagmar bursting in. "SYLVI! YOU HERE? JAYMES SAID YOU WERE BACK!"

A puzzled look. "Um. I think the Chieftain is already out, at the Y. Uncle Frank is still on a run...."

Then a smile. "Hey, Dagmar!" Happy teenage waving with both hands.

"Crud..." He sees Dagmar "Dagmar, any word from the Bug man? More attacks or the like start up?"

"Hey! You're downstairs!" A grin, then, suddeny, she seems to remember she hasn't seen Sylvi in a few months and totally forgets what to do with her hands.

"Um." Blink. "Bug guy? Nothing in ages, not since he hurt Tove..."

Sylvi gives Vali a look. "Way to make it a sunshine-y day, Vali"

To Dagmar she adds, "He's all stressed about...something."

Shuffles her feet before jamming her hands into the pockets of her hoodie. "Yeah?"

"Now now, Sylvi" Quite serious, "Something bad is on the wind. "

Sylvi doesn't try to hug her or anything, but seems completely comfortable having Dagmar in the vicinity.

"Okay, so..." She turns to Vali again. "You asked about a cursed item? I don't think so. There's the hand, but that's been here for weeks, right?"

She scoots closer to the pair. "Is this like a psychic thing?"

"It's his house," Sylvi explains. "Beaumayn. Sometimes they know things ahead of time."

She nods. "That's what Frank said. Psychics. Like on TV."

"Close enough..." He looks around "Fire, Seed, Viper..." A look to Sylvi, "Where's your mother?"

"I think..." A gesture to the kitchen, a little dismayed by Vali's demeanor.

"He doesn't look that much like Jean Grey, though..."

"That's different. Jean Grey controls stuff outside her. Beaumayn can't do that." Pause. "At least, I don't think they can...."

"Jean Grey didn't see the future," he confirms "Ask Colton about precog mutants, he probably knows more than one. Pardon." He moves towards the kitchen

"She DID see visions of the future - not in the first movie, but later ones. I mean, it wasn't fully developed yet, but she did..."

Dagmars hangs back, chin stubbornly set.

Kerri is sorting out newly-obtained groceries and looks over her shoulder. "Oh, hi, Vali. Just up? There's some muffins over there..." She nods to the counter and continues her work.

Sylvi frowns at Vali's back, then gestures for Dagmar to follow so they can listen at the door.

"Kerri, you're Hearth and that means fire... otherwise it might have been green tinged I... " A frown "I had a vision, nasty one, but brief. Someone is going to danger, not just to them but to...more."

A blink, and she sets down the cereal box (large economy size) that she was holding and turns to face him. "Okay..." she says slowly. "Tell me what you can."

"I don't...there are rules...about sharing visions, butit's vague... what really hit me was the impression of the feeling. Like...a well, being poisoned and knowing the village is screwed," he says "this is not written in stone yet, but...the three impressions I got were fire... a seed, and serpents... now the serpents make me think o a particular house. The fire? Wasn't green... so Hearth?"

"Seed...." Kerri murmurs, then calls out, "Sylvi! Come in here, please!"

On the other side of the door, Sylvi startles, then bites her lip and nods for Dagmar to come with her....after pausing for one...two...three (so it doesnt look like she was eavesdropping), she pushes the kitchen door open. "Yes, Mom? Something wrong?" Again, a gesture to encourage Dagmar into the kitchen as well.

A hesitation before she trudges after.

Vali looks the girls over, kenning both with a gaze that is so intent its not like the usual joking knight at all.

"Sylvi," Kerri says with gentle seriousness, "Whatever Vali's been seeing, I think it may have to do with you. Was there anything you did in Alaska that related to a snake? Or...House Balor?"

Sylvi's eyes are wide. "Balor? I...no? I don't think so...." She reviews the last few weeks...so much happened....

She watches from the threshold, amber eyes flicking between the various players.

"Both of you ken okay" Vali says "Girls, sorry for the alarm. I wouldn't be so...intense if this wasn't important. "

Kerri takes a deep breath. "Then...it may be about where you're going." She looks to Vali. "Sylvi's going to be taking a short trip to Tijuana when Siv goes."

"I got a snake skin for Symon... but I've been back almost two weeks..."

"Thanks, Dagmar... that helps...gives me things to rule out. " A look to Kerri, "It could be related, but... oh, of course. " A pause, "Ladies, would it be okay if I cast an omen on each of you?"

"Um. Sure?"

Sylvi gives a glance to Dagmar, and then to her mother. Kerri nods encouragement, and then Sylvi nods to Vali. "Okay....?"

He holds his hand out to Dagmar, and "Your hand palm up please?"

A look at Kerri, uncertain.
