He beams. "Okay! You bring Jaymes and Miss Tove and I'll cook up a right mess o'cakes. Maybe with -marshmallow- in. Can you DO that?"

Gerd giggles at osmething

"Oh, I could bring'm here... what's so funny, Gerd?"

He sighs. "My pancakes weren't all nice -n- round like Kerri makes."

"Nobody cooks like Kerri, right?"

A solemn shake of his head. "Maybe I can learn, though. I like food."

Another glance into the kitchen, mournful, after the jar gone away.

"Bet Kerri could make peanut butter pancakes..."

Eyes widening. "No WAY."

"I bet!"

"Uhm.. " gerd says "I can't tell"

Siv returns

"Siv - Siv SIV!" Connor greets her with a barrage.

"PEANUT-BUTTER-PANCAKES!"

"what?I don't have any..." Siv say startled "In fact, I didn't know they were possible"

"If not Kerri, I bet Tove would... "

The troll childling says "Well, Kerri IS the best cook...then Sally Mae, then maybe Tove"

"Anyone who cooks is Best Cook because then there is food to eat." He remarks, with rare common sense.

SHe nods. "There's that, true."

"There's always SO MUCH FOOD here..."

"I want to make some with... ummm... peanut butter, and banana... and marshmallow... and, umm... tatoe chips, and, and..."

Siv laughs "I think Connor has the right of it"

"Are you starving at your home then?" Siv asks Dagmar

"The house? No, no, there's food there, too."

"But, like, not like here unless Tove brings something."

"Is Tove bringing lots of food? " Gerd says "Is Jaymes asking her out yet, or he still being stupid?"

"Gerd" Siv says with a firm look not unike her mom's

"Food there too? What kind?" Interested at the prospect of ANOTHER fridge...

"I dunno..."

"Pancakes?"

"Not yet."

Gerd mutter something about brows and adds "well, it's true. If he doesn't the British guy will woo her, and might take her away, then we'd be Toveless"

She GLARES at Gerd. "Take that back."

"Who's the british guy?"

"A jerk."

"Oh. Can Siv bop his nose?"

Gerd says "But it might happen"

"He's some fancy pants show pony with an accent, Tove will see past that I'm sure..." Siv corrects "pretty sure"

"But what if she LIKES show ponies?" Tilting his head once more.

"Well, she's around now,"

"Then we knock him over the head and push him into a trod blindfolded" A low mutter from Siv

Gerd says "That wouldn't be very honorable" Gerd says to Siv

"Well, if he was honorable, he'd go away. We had her first."

"Gerd's right, we can't knock him out for just... being a jerk. And Tove is her own person" Siv says "Much as it sucks. We just have to make her realize how much we like her here so even if Jaymes doesn't do the smart thing she'll realize this county is her proper home"

"Don't wanna scare her off, though."

"Maybe Showpony can move here, too?"

Gerd frowns "But then Dagmar won't have a mom AND dad"

"Does she need them? She has the whole blue family." He blinks at Gerd, curiously.

An odd expression - embarrassment, perhaps?

"That's like...." He pauses to count on his hands. "Like, seven-eleventy and more."
