"We don't know what she's gonna... and I feel bad lying, but hopeffully if he takes her oout he DOES make sure it's bland. She'll hate that"

She harrumphs. "It's stupid. I want them to fix it."

"Well, maybe they will but it best be soon" Siv says with a worried look "he's pretty handsome, and that accent? Pretty hard for a girl to resist" A frown "But he's a bit too much show pony, not enough go pony"

"Dunno."

"I just... I liked having her around."

"Well, she's not gone yet...and maybe not even then. Maybe mister swanky pants is moving here. Not that i'm crazy about that idea"

"We don't need'm"

"Dagmar, I'm inclined to agree, but you seem almost as tight lipped as Jaymes. Maybe talk about what you do want? I mean 'fixit' fix it how?"

"They had a fight."

"Yeah. Because he insulted her food? I think I heard."

"Yeah, he was dumb. But SHE coulda... dunno... not been a bitch about it."

"How was she a bitch?" Her head twists curious

"She got all huffy. He didn't KNOW it was hers."

"And she coulda figured that out if she wasn't so busy taking it personally."

"Well, she could have but she made something hoping to d o something nice for her and... when he rejected it, it felt like he rejected her. It's..a gut reaction I think. Aye, she should try to roll with it a bit...but he was dumb as you said. sometimes that can frustrate"

"And they just... they were fighting..." She scowls.

"Couples do that sometime. When mom and dad , and it doesn't happen oftne, but when they're mad at each other, I can feel it like...tension in the earth and wind."

"I hate watching people fight like that."

"Being shouty."

"It's sometimes worse when they're quiet, where they get coldd and you feel the distance between them.... like even in the same room, they're miles away" Siv shudders

"I don't like it."

"no one does, not even the folks doing the fighting after is' done I think' siv says "I suppose if i ever get a regular lad he'll make me crazy. Seems ingrained in love. Olgar says all couples fight wit each other now and then, the ones that last get back to back even in the middlle of a fight to face the world together, and then they can get back to who said what about the garbage and when"

"That's why I ain't ever gonna date."

"Well, not for me to say, but I think we can agree that if they're going to put in all this work already, Tove and Jaymes SHOULD Date? Right?"

"Right?"

"So.. how do we get him to ...don't know, ask her out?" Siv sighs "I love Uncle Jaymes, but I think your Glome friend moves faster some days"

"I don't know!"

"Ooo kay" She says raisin a brow at the volume

"I can't just... I can't talk to him about that. It ain't my business."

"Probably not, and I'm sorry. Isn't right to put more pressure on you acting like either of us should have the answers' Siv frowns 'Sorry." A pause, "you really like Tove though don't you? I mean, she's good to you. She gets you? More than some anyway?"

A sigh. "She's nice. She reminds me of this one girl... years ago, the first time i was in a group home."

"She... I was one of the younger kids, and she was almost grown up, and she made sure I was ok."

"She sounds grand.""

A figure approaches

"so help me if he's back again..." Siv's eyes narrow as she mutters.

Dagmar sits up, watching.

But no, it's a female figure, and not a troll.

Her chin juts out and her eyes narrow.

Tiffany! thane of New Agengard slumps against the ship looking dazed. She's not wearing her uniform

"....Tiffany?" The scowl drops, and she gets to her feet.

"Oh, heya kiddos... you're not taking a basketball to Boise are you?"

"No. I don't know where Boise is. You don't look so hot."

"Boise is where the potato overlords store people in pods. " She explains, "And hey, strong independent woman here. My boyfriend found out I was using his toothbrush and now he wants to share mouthwash. Getting PRETTY epic."

"Uhg." She glares. "So you are here, all staggering and full of drama?"

"Talk to Siv. She likes romance."

Tiffany shoots Dagmar a look, "Cut me some slack, Pup. I didn't mean to put the sign 'please, shake things up, I LIKE Surprises' on my forehead"

"Oh no, somebody likes you, how terrible." She snorts.

Siv winces "Ah, Dagmar..."
